We ordered for dinner Chicken soup and chicken enchilada with a de Oro margarita. The food was very flavorful. If you are in the reward programs you get points to redeem as dollars. I substitute the rice and beans for vegetables, however there is a $2.45 for changing it. We spent $42 dollars and i was able to use $22.00 on saved rewards. $10 dollars = 200 points. When is your birthday they bring you a dessert and sing for you.

We had been wanting to visit this place for a while. I wished we had gone sooner. Our servers were very helpful and friendly. The menu had a wide variety to choose from, with just as many choices of spirits as food. Our server also made us aware of their summer BOGO drink specials. Our meals were fresh and delicious. The dinner meals are large plates, so go there hungry. The ability to do substitutions makes your choices endless.

Paid $25 for three Birria tacos rice and watery Rancho beans and when I asked if I could purchase a side of sour cream the host tried telling me that there was only one size and it comes in a big Styrofoam container for almost 4 dollars but yet the consome that comes on the side of my tacos is a small clear container like what I’m looking for and she acted as if there was just no way that I would be able to have a small side of sour cream it threw me off so I didn’t even get the chance to ask for salsa Verde but I can only imagine what she would try to charge me for a small side of that. Just horrible customer service from the hostess in all. Didn’t seem to care that that was the only thing that they offer or even bother trying to ask somebody else I had came on my lunch break or else I probably would have asked for a manager but I didn’t even have the time to do that.

The service was excellent. Very attentive. Our waiter checked back on us to make sure we were ok. The Piña Colada was delicious, but the picture on the menu made me think it was bigger than what I actually got,especially for the price. I think it was about $15. I ordered the Ibirria Tacos which were delicious. However they don’t come with sour cream or guacamole. I had to ask for it separately and I believeit was an extra charge, but they were delicious! Good atmosphere, clean restrooms. Our meals were a little expensive. My tab alone was about $50 but it was a nice place with good food. Definitely would recommend.

It’s hard for a Mexican restaurant to stand out in any way- most of them have similar vibes, similar food, same old same old. But Azteca D’Oro has done a great job being unique in the way they have decorated and set up their aesthetic.
From the cool, medieval looking chandeliers to the paintings and the way the bar is so grand looking with cases of high-end, rare alcohol bottles. I’m a fan. On one side of the restaurant there are a lot of big tvs as well, so you could come hang out to watch a sports game and have a great time.
The food was decent, it wasn’t outstanding but it was good and enjoyable. I got the molcajete which literally could be shared between 3-4 people on its own. They have fun drinks too, as Mexican restaurants do- the paloma was a highlight.
We did have great service- I’d give that part 5 stars to our waitress Claudia. Overall, I’d come back for sure, even just to enjoy the chips, salsa & queso.

This was delightful! Gaby gave us fabulous recommendations and the perfect level of service. Present and friendly, but not hovering. Food had strong, appropriate flavours. Nothing was bland, servings were large. Best Mexican food in town, for sure!

First time visiting this Azteca. The food was excellent, the server was good and the atmosphere was nice and interesting. Clean restrooms and dining area. I liked the paintings on the walls. Plenty of parking. Was a busy evening but the seven of us got seated pretty quickly. I’m in a bit of a financial crunch and watching my pennies so I wish they had a military discount like Abuelos has. Other than that, great place.
