Trying Lola‘s diner for the first time!
This one’s a hard one. we went to Lola’s for breakfast. I ordered the two eggs over easy with bacon, hashbrowns, and multigrain toast right off the bat, I can tell you I am not a fan of their hashbrowns. They lacked flavor and I am a hash brown connoisseur. I know a good hash browns probably one of my favorite for breakfast, and this one just didn’t cut it. They need to get some kind of hash brown seasoning, like when you go to the waffle house and they put that seasoning on the hash brown that matters. the other thing that didn’t sit well with me is when we got our check and there was extra charged for the hash browns $.95 for hash browns why? normally bacon egg hash browns all come together, not here. Now my husband had the Denver omelette and he raved about it. He said the vegetables were fresh was very good, but he was not a fan of the hash browns either. he said his side of pancakes were excellent, coffee was a great! Most of all service was great. Our server was very attentive came back with coffee. I can’t complain about that. It’s very cute in the inside. Very nostalgic looks like a 50’s diner. I have to say I thought prices were very reasonable except I didn’t still understand paying extra $.95 for hashbrowns.
I’m just giving you my honest opinion. now here’s the real question would I go back? I would probably go back for lunch and try their sandwiches and soup.

Stopped by here on my way back to the city. I’m so glad I did! Awesome diner food at diner prices in a relaxed, retro setting with excellent service. My coffee never made it past half full before someone asked if I wanted more. Sausage skillet totally hit the spot.

Another “not my first time here, but first Google Review” for this place! Friendly staff and classic diner spot where “everyone knows your name” type of vibe. Prices can’t be beat. If you order coffee, expect the continual ask on refills. Dined in and ordered take-out in the past, and this recent dine-in, I ordered their Biscuits & Homemade Sausage Gravy (pictured here) without eggs and hashbrowns – generous portion and tasty. Will be back for sure, and will also have to try their dinner menu.

Great diner for lunch or breakfast, the place is always busy and service is reliable and quick and very friendly. They have a delicious menu- lots of sandwiches, wraps, and homemade soups daily. I like the soup and 1/2 sandwich combo. This a fun place with retro decor, lots of customers and an older crowd. Our server was very pleasant and had no problem sitting the check, and you just pay at the front register. Delicious coffee in a dinner style ceramic cup!

Man super disappointed. Ordered the Cuban sandwich with a cup of soup. The soup was barely warm and it was lunchtime. The Cuban had no mustard and worst of all it was smothered in BBQ pulled pork. It wasn’t a Cuban at all and the BBQ was excessively sweet. Must’ve been out of a bottle. The server never asked if everything was okay so I never had a chance to discuss why there was a pile of BBQ pork on my finished plate. The pickle looked inedible and pathetic. Not sure I’ll be back after this experience.

Lola’s Diner earns a solid four stars for its unpretentious charm and reliably tasty comfort food. The moment you step inside, the retro booths, checkered floors, and the faint sizzle from the open grill transport you to a simpler era of American dining. Service is warm and efficient—our waitress refilled coffees without being asked and offered menu insights with genuine enthusiasm. The classic cheeseburger arrived juicy and perfectly seasoned, paired with crispy fries that hit the spot every time.
The breakfast offerings shine just as brightly, with fluffy pancakes stacked high and scrambled eggs cooked to silky perfection. Their homemade pies, especially the apple with a flaky crust, are worth saving room for. Portions are generous without being overwhelming, and the prices feel fair for the quality and quantity. It’s the kind of place where locals linger over coffee, and that community vibe adds to the appeal.
A few minor quibbles keep it from five stars: the diner can get noisy during peak hours, and the parking lot fills up fast on weekends. Still, these are small trade-offs for a spot that consistently delivers hearty, no-frills meals in a welcoming atmosphere. Lola’s is a dependable go-to for anyone craving classic diner fare done right.
