This place is terrible! Went a few weeks ago. Waited forever in the drive thru and there were only 2 cars. Got home to discover my child’s burger, that he’d already eaten half of, was partially raw. We didn’t see it because it was dark. I cut into my burger and it was totally, I mean totally raw through the entire thing. Had to throw most of the food away. My kids said the milk tasted like water and not milk. Spent $45 and most of the food was inedible! So thankful my son didn’t get food poisoning from his burger.

I tried calling the store a few times to complain to the manager and get my money back. I kept the burger as proof and took photos. No one answered at the location and I called that night and the next day!

Then I reached out to corporate instead. They were terrible also. 2 weeks and no one has called even though they said it was fast tracked. Called them again to complain and they had listed someone called me!! NO ONE ever called me. Yet they kept insisting someone did. Which is an outright lie. Still no call or voicemail after a few weeks and never got my money back. I will NEVER go back to this location ever and I’ll probably never patronize another McDonalds again.

If I could leave a zero I would. The customer service was rude. Had no idea how to enter our order. Which was directly off the menu. Had to wait outside the drive thru line for 25 mins. Advised an associate all of our food was cold when brought to us. Asked can he just replace the large fries? We had already eaten the cold sandwich and the nuggets were for our dogs He said no problem he’ll get it replaced. Another 10 mins goes by. We finally went inside and was treated so unkindly and almost shamed for complaining that we left.

This was an awful experience. I placed a mobile drive through order, and waited 5 minutes in line just for them to tell me it was closed when I got to the box, at 2 in the afternoon. So I had to go inside, then inside they lost the order and I had to put it back in, it took another 10 minutes to get the order. Then there was a McChicken just dumped in the bag with no wrapper. This place needs to get its crop together

Worst McDonald’s in the area. Check out Living in Lynchburg to see how REALLY bad it is. There are too many reviews about how horrible this place is. No proper cleaning, and none of the people inside could even acknowledge me. Drive-thru associates were great, but good luck experiencing good customer service inside, especially if they forgot something on your order.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Placed an order through the mobile app last night (2/13/26), got home and this was my quarter pounder patty. COMPLETELY raw, and when I tried to call back no one would answer the phone even though it was during normal business hours. This was after I overlooked the disrespectful customer service, and the fact that my double cheeseburgers still had all the toppings even though I ordered only pickles.

First time going to this location. Used the app, we were told to pull to the first drive through spot. We proceeded to sit there for well over 30 minutes totally forgotten.

The poor food runner was overwhelmed. He asked several times if different orders were ours. We watched at least 9 or so other cars told to park or pull farward get their food before us that ordered after us. I finally was able to flag him down and tell him a 4th time what we ordered and how long we’d been sitting there.

A manager should have been the one to bring us our food an apologize for the wait, instead they sent this already overwhelmed kid back out. No apology, no attempt to make it right from management. The icing on the cake is that the nuggets we waited nearly 40 minutes for tasted off when we got home. If McDonalds wasnt more expensive now I would just roll with it and say, “well, its just McDonalds” but if you’re going to charge more I need to do better. Its the closest one to my house and I will not be back.

I already reported this on the McDonalds website as the other robotic suggestions to the other bad reviews has suggested. I doubt anything will change since there are so many other bad reviews for such a long span of time.

this location can never get a order correct. today was my 3rd time this month ordering a lg sweet tea with extra ice and receiving un sweet tea. unfortunately. I paid with cash today and my ride is gone and I didn’t receive a receipt. been calling for the last 20 minutes and no one will answer the phone . I just dont understand why their still in business and why they won’t just hire a whole new crew. the store now has a weird odor on the inside. I would love to speak to the district manager. it’s so frustrating that theirs always a issue

Consistently bad experience at this location. They are always out of items, preparing food sloppily, or getting orders wrong — all for a higher price than at Lynchburg locations. I can always count on this McDonald’s to provide a poor customer experience, so I end up driving out of my way to the McDonald’s on Wards Rd., where the quality of everything is better.

This place needs someone who has management training and people with good customer service skills. The food is cold….has been sitting out for awhile…..get the orders wrong and on and on. After a certain time you have to throw the food away…..You let apple pies sit until it’s like glue on the inside. The whole place is a disgrace PERIOD
