I can’t believe it is taking me this long to review this place as it’s been one of my favorites for years .
From a wonderfully curated menu of brat, kielbasa, premium hot dogs, poutine and expansive Hard Cider Menu. There’s something for everyone there.
The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. It feels like a mixture of a farmhouse kitchen mixed in with a rural cider mill and butcher shop type vibes. ( I mean this in a good way)
Decent amount of space and clean bathrooms. The staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable of what they serve and have always been accommodating.
Also, check out their generous food and drink specials which they have frequently. There’s no parking.
It is street parking only so I would recommend either taking public transit or being okay with finding parking a block or two away.
But I’ve been going here for years and it’s my number one go-to comfort meal spot in JC. ❤️

Another great German bar down in Jersey City Hoboken area. My nephew and his wife picked this place out since they live in Jersey City and what a great place to meet up beginning your evening or ending your evening. The bartender and wait staff were on point and very friendly with a great atmosphere. The selections of beers and cocktails were many and very tasty! I very much enjoyed the kiwi sour coconut beer weirdly enough, and had many of them. From salads to broths everything was excellent Thank you so much for lowly experience and will be back!!

Visited this place on 11.9.2025 for Lunch. All burgers are delicious (4 of us had 4 different types) and their Truffle sauce with fries is fire as well.

Suffice it to say, if you’re feeling “wurst” for wear (jajajaja), you should stop by here to get your protein fix.
Bonus: Their Happy Hour runs ’til 7pm and you can get full-size $6 poutine then. Yuuuuum, says the Canadian in me.
Other good eats include the classic Haus Dog, which is served with sauerkraut, mustard, pickled onions, and relish. Or channel your inner Sonic the Hedgehog with the Hot Diggity Dog, which comes with–you guessed it–housemade chili (along with cheese sauce, sour cream and Fritos). Mmmmm, gotta go fast!

This restaurant has the best hot dog I’ve ever had! The ingredients are always fresh, the flavor is amazing, and the Maui Bow Wowie is a must-try. On top of the incredible food, the service is excellent – the bartenders are super attentive and fast, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding hot dogs and a great atmosphere, this is the spot!

My party of 5 sat outside and each got a different kind of dog and cocktailbeer. Everything was wonderful! I highly recommend the poutine and the dog with the fig jam and goat cheese! Our server was so friendly and had such a great attitude!

Love love love this place. It’s my neighborhood bar I go to at least once every other week for a cocktail. My favorite menu items are their kale Caesar salad and truffle fries with truffle aioli. Staff is always pleasant as well. Only complaint about the atmosphere is about the screaming children running around the restaurant if you go during lunch, but whatever it’s a public place that’s just personal preference ♀️
