Absolutely delicious. The garlic knots are without a doubt my favorite I’ve ever had. They had the texture of a zeppoli. SO GOOD. the pizzas were outstanding. Great dough. I loved the creamy tomato sauce too. I got the neo margarita pizza well done and the heavenly hot honey grandma. Both I would get again.

Well first off we were told delivery is 2 hours which we were completely fine with but the food showed up 45 min earlier!! Super happy with that and now onto the food…..Delicious!! We tried the chicken parm dinner for 1…wow! The portion was like a dinner for 2 loaded with fresh mozzarella. We tried 2- 10″ pizzas…the triple threat and the hot Honey heaven. Both pizzas were absolutely amazing tons of flavor nice thin crust and the right amount of sauce. And we had to try a sandwich so we went with the chicken cutlet with fresh baked homemade sourdough bread which was super soft and held up really well while eating. The chicken on both the chicken parm and sandwich were the perfect cutlets nice and thin, moist and fried to perfection. Well definitely be back to order again! Thank you for the delicious food!

My friend and I really enjoyed their food, it is just a bummer this spot is a bit of a hike from us. We decided to take a food adventure because we heard Grumpys was a top spot, and they lived up to the hype. They made one pie half margarita and half grandma with pesto, and I got their shrimp and garlic pie. Both of them were really good, but the shrimp pie was my favorite. As you can see in the picture, they throw a good amount of toppings on there, and their garlic crust hits the spot too. The shrimp tasted fresh and not at all bland. This is not one of those places where you skip the crust, every bit of the pizzas were eaten, that is how good they were. While the crust is a little thin for me, I was definitely a fan and would recommend this spot to all pizza lovers. The sourdough makes the pie a bit more unique and I definitely notice the quality taste. I will say this is mainly a takeout spot as they do not really have much of a seating area. If the crust was a little thicker, it would be exactly my style however I am happy with the way they are serving it up. We saw how popular the place was and can definitely see why. For those of you a little further away like myself, may want to take the trip at least once to experience some delicious pizza. If I lived near, I would be hitting this spot up at least once a week. Good work and keep it up, this place definitely does pizza right.

Awesome sourdough pizza from NJ.
Looks like the restaurant is only for pick-up. They have some tables and chairs but it’s not really set up for eating there.
The pizzas were super tasty even though we ate them cold due to long drive home and waiting for guests to come. Toast it again if you want.
We loved the garlic knots and the hot honey pizza the most.
You should totally try it if you’re in the area!

When I tell you I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. It has been top of my list and so happy that today I got that chance! This pizza was unreal! I got their triple threat. I mean just delicious I’m definitely going back to try some of their other dishes. 10/10 for me. Please go. They’re doing pizza right!

Wow! What a delicious discovery in the area. We had delivery for two 10” pies, and they were mindblowing. Thin, crispy, sourdough crust. Would absolutely order again- loved the cherry peppers and basil pesto option. Perfect size for 2 of us

Wicked amazing food! Garlic knots blew my mind. Creamy buffalo wings had great flavor, square pizza had the perfect crunch to soft ratio. Makes sense why this place was packed. Highly recommend

This place is a gem!!! A definite must try. Came for the 1st time and got a pie, 1/2 drunken chicken parm & 1/2 hot honey heaven with the garlic crust. Absolutely delicious, the crust is perfectly crisp and not too thin. We also tried the garlic knots, also delicious. I love how they give vodka and marinara sauce for the knots. Definitely our new pizza spot, can’t wait to come back and try the other items on the menu

Literally where have you been all my life! Just moved to Bergen from Jersey city and if you know Jersey city, there are around 10 pizza establishments on a half mile radius competing with each other and they are NOT good. Soft, floppy pizza dough nothing to die for. It was our first at Grumpy’s and i immediately knew I hit the jackpot. We ordered meat lover 16” pie with medium crisp, garlic crust. Wowww was it freaking good! Crust was crispy, no flop and you can taste the garlic on the crust! They give you basil leaves on the side with a complimentary side of hot honey to try. Truly obsessed will be back soon!

This year, I’ve eaten a 28-inch and a 30-inch pizza solo…. So naturally it was time to try a find a 32-inch pizza to conquer! Such a colossal diameter of pie is hard to come by in the pizza world, but luckily Grumpy’s in Saddle Brook, NJ just so happens to make such a pizza!

Teams of two get 30 minutes eat an entire entire 32” pizza while solo attempters are graced with a full hour to complete the challenge. Winners receive the $50 pizza for free as well as a free t-shirt. Failure will cost you the full price for the pizza, but you’ll walk home with some delicious leftovers.

Fun math fact about this pizza. One might quickly assume one 32” pizza is basically two 16” pizzas, right? Not quite… this giant pizza is equivalent to FOUR of their 16” pizzas! It uses also uses the same amount of dough to make EIGHT of their personal sized 10” pizzas. A pizza of this scale also takes up the entire oven, halting Grumpy’s from making pizza for other paying customers. When I arrived, they were SWAMPED with orders. Their phones were off the hook and they tirelessly flung pizza after pizza into the oven and promptly out door for almost an hour! I was worried there wouldn’t be one moment to breathe let alone time to clear an oven to make space for a 32” pizza. Luckily calm entered the establishment and the team began assembling my 32” pizza.

I requested one half traditional cheese pizza and one half Hawaiian with a garlic crust. It came out of the oven glistening weighing a modest 8.5lbs. It was quite the cold December day, and the breeze from the front door cooled the pizza quickly for me to dig right in while it was still warm. After an absolutely mouth watering and satiating 31:58, my 32” inch and a liter of diet grape soda had made its way fully into my distended belly.

Thank you so much, Marcello and Nicolle, for your extreme hospitality towards me and my family! I’m blown away at how courteous you treated everyone that walked in and out of your door during my time there. I felt truly loved and supported here while you cheered me on through out this challenge. Your pizza was also STELLAR! You have made me a fan of sourdough pizza. I definitely need to return to try some of your specialty pies and desserts!.
