SINCE 1742, THE PINEVILLE HAS SERVED THE GREATER PHILADELPHIA AREA, MAKING US ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S OLDEST CONTINUOUSLY OPERATING TAVERNS.
IN OTHER WORDS, WE’VE BEEN HERE SINCE THE DAWN OF COCKTAILS.
PHENOMENAL FOOD, PHENOMENAL SERVICE.. It’s a beautiful thing.
From-scratch American fare including steaks & pasta plus an antique bar in an 18th-century building.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. The house made ranch was the best! The calamari was awesome, with guac as a sauce. The pizza was nice, hot and crisp. The ribs literally fell off the bone. Highly recommend the outdoor sitting area.

Won’t return. While, the food was good, it couldn’t overcome 20 minute waits between each course. 20 mins to get soft drinks and drinks from the bar. Another 20 mins for appetizers. Another 20 minutes for soups. Another 20 minutes for the main course, of which several plates had cold food, and another 20 minutes for desserts.
Thank goodness the check came promptly, but then it was 9p and the restaurant was closing. We sat down at 6:15 p.
My ribs were tasty. The sugar snap peas were over cooked, wrinkled and yet served cold. The creamed spinach had a good flavor but was more runny than creamy… AND lukewarm.

Food here is very good. Outdoor seating is great. Great place to have food when Pebbles Village gets crowded, not really far from there and you can Uber

Visited for the first time for lunch this past week. Was looking for something nearby with a cute vibe and a good menu. The staff was polite, helpful, and attentive. We dined in the atrium and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back!

This Tavern is a place I’ve wanted to try for awhile now and it was ok. There is forced valet parking and even with reservations we had to wait.
Our servers were nice and attentive (we had a few different individuals take various parts of our order.)
The restaurant itself has a nice charm but we just felt a little out of place with the regular crowd and patrons.

I asked to be seated in the hall, but they seated us on the terrace. The terrace is well decorated, the atmosphere is not forced, relaxed, the waiters are not intrusive, the burger is moderately tasty, the bun is dry, there is not enough juice from the meat, the taste is not rich, the smoothie is too simple.Overall, you can come once or twice, I’ll come back later to check if the burger was fixed, if not, I’ll have to lower the star.

First time at the Pineville Tavern. Our experience was excellent! We ate in the atrium, surrounded by plants, trees, and various pieces of ironwork, etc. The service was prompt and polite. The portions were large. I had a large portion of BBQ Pulled Pork on an enormous Brioch Bun, and my friends had cheeseburgers which filled their buns. We all had steak fries. Everything was prepared to perfection. Will definitely plan to go back again!

Very old, very historic and gorgeous. The snapper soup isn’t to be missed. I’ve been a couple of times had the lobster Mac and cheese and the homemade ravioli. For dessert, the rice pudding is too notch! Service is always very good. Highly recommend stopping here and having a great meal!

Had a wonderful meal at the Pineville last night. They have introduced a Itailan/Steakhouse menu. We were a party of 6 and we shared the food as there are so many good choices. Meatballs, tuna tar tar, ceaser salad, 3 different pastas to name a few. I can’t wait to go back. Did not have room for the steaks but looking forward to the Osso Buca next time.

I was not impressed by this place. We decided to go for a date night and try the pizza that was supposed to be ✨️AMAZING✨️ I mean it was good but I’ve had better. It took 45 minutes to get to our table. In the meantime, we had soup, 1 snapper, and 1 French onion. The French onion was pretty good l, but the snapper was horrendous. My husband doesn’t like to waste food, so he finished it, but wow I would never get that there again.
The ravioli are not the same ones featured in that Triple D episode so I was disappointed since I hate cheese ravioli. The only winner-winner chicken dinner of the night was the lobster mac and cheese. Looked like a whole lobster was in there along with a delicious mac and cheese. Would go back for that only.
We ate in the garden room, which was pretty and brightly lit, but the tables in there were disgusting. They need to do a deep cleaning on those wood tables; power wash them or just use tablecloths because they are repulsive to eat off of.
