Had dinner at The Bavaria Restaurant and honestly, it was fantastic. I ordered the Steak Flambé (Tender New York Striploin) and it blew me away. The steak was super tender and juicy, cooked exactly how I asked for it, and the flambé added such a fun, flavorful touch.
The sauce was rich and creamy without being too heavy, and everything on the plate just worked perfectly together. You can really tell they care about quality here.
Service was great too — friendly, quick, and attentive without hovering. The whole atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.
If you’re a steak lover, you’ve got to try this place. Easily a 5-star meal from start to finish!

You want steak, then this is the place. It’s never disappointing coming here. The specials are always unique and taste worthy. The Regular dishes always phenomenal. We had porter house and prime rib with Agaffo and toffee cake for dessert.

Went in at 5pm on a Saturday and they were able to get us seated with no wait. The food was great from steamed mussels for appetizers (the broth was amazing) to the prime rib, shrimp, and schnitzel we also got the boneless ribs which were ok they were the least impressive thing on the plate the red cabbage was fantastic. Our waitress was great with a fun and perky attitude and our cups never ran dry.

Bavaria Restaurant in Abbotsford is a well-loved Western/German spot that’s perfect for celebrating special occasions or enjoying a night out with friends. The portions are generous, the flavors are outstanding, the service is warm and friendly, and the prices offer better value than most chain steakhouses.
Today, I enjoyed the traditional schnitzel, a juicy steak, and European-style lobster — all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Caesar cocktail was also spot-on.

Earlier this month me and my buddy had dinner at Bavaria, we go out for dinner once a month to catch up. Bavaria was his recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. As it was spur of the moment we didn’t book a reservation but as soon as we arrived the front of house staff was helpful and told us they would have a table ready for us as soon as possible, we had a drink at the very lively bar. Josh the bartender poured us a drink and also engaged in witty banter and had us laughing while still managing a crowded bar. Our table was soon ready and, the vibe and ambience as soon as we sat down was friendly and comforting as our waitress Dani served us. Even for a busy Saturday evening our waitress managed to have a few ice cold German sized pints placed in-front of us in no time. She was also very personable, bubbly and funny. She joked with us throughout the whole evening and thought we were on a date. We ordered the Brie appetizer (highly recommended by the tattooed baddie waitress) and also the pretzel and bratwurst and they were delicious, the mains also were incredible. I had the prime rib dinner and buddy had the New York strip with herb garlic butter, both of our plates had nothing to show for it. We always get a couple of deserts and this time was no different as the apple crumble and crème Brûlée got devoured in no time.
I was pleasantly surprised as I chatted with Dani the waitress while paying the bill that Bavaria is a family owned restaurant that has been in business for over 50 years, and they’re still going strong and I can see why. Great service, delicious food worth every penny, friendly, good looking, caring and funny staff, and fair prices. I will definitely be coming back soon, also been telling all my friends and family to go try it out.
Thanks Bavaria

I hadn’t been to the Bavaria since I was a kid. My father used to bring me here for some really great meals back then. Well this time around (40 years later) I returned with my wife and boy we were extremely pleased with the food and the decor. Our waitress Ashley was superb and the food was devine! We had great drinks from the Bar (Caesars and Wine), then really nice French Onion Soup and a tasty German Pretzel. For mains we had the Bavarian Steak and the Filet Minion (both really good and the Filet was soft like butter!). Ended with a really nice Lava Cake with Ice Cream. What a great and tasty time at this amazing Restaurant. I can understand why they have been in business since the 1970s… We’ll be back!
