Hwaro 1 is easily in my top three Korean BBQ spots. Every time I go, it’s the same experience — delicious, consistent, and high quality across the board.
The meats are always fresh and well-marinated. Whether you’re going for brisket, short rib, bulgogi, or other cuts, everything cooks up flavorful and tender. You can tell they pay attention to quality control because it’s consistently good every visit.
The sides and menu variety are solid too. From the banchan to the appetizers and soups, everything complements the grilled meats well. Nothing feels like an afterthought — it’s a well-rounded Korean BBQ experience.
Overall, this place checks all the boxes: flavor, consistency, and quality. Definitely one of my top Korean BBQ restaurants and a spot I confidently recommend when someone’s craving KBBQ.

The overall meal was absolutely horrible, I think it might be the worst ever. The kimchi was stale. How do you make kimchi stale it’s fermented? Lol. The only bright spot was our server. Im sorry that this is going to point at him. The meat was “ALL” not fresh. This was bad bad bad. I would be willing to try it again if they wanted to invite me but I doubt they will lol. OH and one more thing, we are in 2026, how is a business open to the public not wheelchair accessible??

I usually don’t change restaurants often, but today I decided to give Hwaro another chance after not coming here for a very long time. Unfortunately, this experience really ruined what had been a great day for me. it ended with a very disappointing dinner.
From the moment I walked in, things felt off. A staff member led me to my table without greeting me at all, simply dropped the menu, and walked away without asking anything or offering any recommendations. When the food arrived, the taste was okay. nothing special, but edible.
What truly made the experience uncomfortable was the atmosphere. It felt like everyone working there was irritated or upset. Dishes were being thrown around loudly, and it was very unpleasant. In particular, the female server assigned to our table looked extremely frustrated. She cleared our dishes aggressively and even threw plates right in front of me. She also kept walking around holding her phone. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it really affected the dining experience.
However, I do want to give credit to one of her coworkers. She was smiling all night and treated us kindly. If it weren’t for him, this night would have felt even worse.
Overall, I’m really disappointed. I regret choosing this place instead of going to my favorite restaurant tonight. The atmosphere and service were very poor, and I don’t think I will be coming back. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves both service and attitude in the future.

The server was great! Derek came quickly and made sure everything went smoothly. The food arrived fast, and everything we ordered was solid — pork belly, beef tongue, shrimp, fresh tuna and salmon rolls, avocado, and even dessert. Great value too — we spent under $60 for two people. If you’re looking for a tasty, not-too-busy lunchtime spot, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The quality of the cuts were excellent and the service staff were courteous and attentive. If you go there on a weekend, be aware that they only offer the “Premium AYCE” regardless of the time of day. They also charge an extra 3% if you use a credit card. This is becoming more common among restaurants. I don’t like it all. Seems the cc charge for the owners is part of doing business. For 3 of us, the check was $145.

Excellent dining experience. We were pleasantly surprised that the AYCE lunch menu included both the BBQ and sushi menus. Service was prompt and courteous, I especially appreciated the lady employee who seated us and served us the majority of the time we were there as opposed to the server who was actually assigned to us. She was friendly, polite and always served with a smile. You have to order the side dishes as they do not automatically give you side dishes. The portions were gigantic compared to other AYCE spot side dishes. The meat was a lot more fatter than othe places, and that could be either good or bad depending on your preference. They do charge an automatic gratuity for 5 people, so just a heads up. All in all, it cost us about $170 gratuity included for a group of 5. I hope to come back again soon.

Walked in and didn’t know they renovated! It’s been a while since I came here but loved the new look. Menu been upgraded too as they added sushi and more selections. Price went up a bit, but that’s expected with renovations and such. We waited less than 30 minutes to get seated, which is fast for a Saturday night. The service was great. Everything came out in a timely matter, and the employees were fast in clearing out any dishes. Never had any problems with anything. Great experience and will be back again.

You just aren’t going to find a better value for more delicious Korean BBQ. Plain and simple. This is my favorite not just in Vegas, but ever! This is the meal I look forward to the most every time I visit Vegas.
A lot has changed here over the years. The menu, the ambience, all of it. But despite the fact that I didn’t think it could get any better, it somehow seems to keep getting better. Most of the menu changes have been great, but with ONE CAVEAT. Bring back the honey mustard karaage!
