Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’ve been going to this Whataburger for years and I have NEVER had a bad meal or incorrect order. The staff is wonderful, always glad to see me. Lynda is exceptional. Always remembers my order, always has a smile on her face and she ensures the operation runs smoothly. The restaurant is always spotlessly clean no matter what time of day I come here

Mostly the service is what’s exceptional for a fast food restaurant these days. Quality of food is good and consistent. Location is questionable but not their fault as there has been an influx of sketchy people in the immediate area.

Ordered curb side pickup. Sat outside for 30 minutes, 40 minutes after ordering (10 minute drive to the location). Two different employees came out and went to their cars, one of them multiple times. I thought they were busy because it was taking awhile but I noticed a guy parked next to me and came out with food about 8 minutes later. Walked in and they tried to hand me a bag that was sitting under the counter. The manager then tried to tell me it was just made. I had also ordered a milkshake that was melted when it was handed to me. I had them remake the food, it had obviously been sitting there awhile. They just refuse to bring out curb side. Why offer it on your app if you aren’t going to deliver on it? Will not go to this location again and I don’t recommend anyone else does. This is the slowest location I go to. It has been an issue for a while, but this was the last time.

This restaurant is managed wonderfully thru the week but suffers in the weekend shift either the manager is not well trained or suffering with staffing issues. I’ve gone here several times now on the weekends and the service is slow & backed up the store is nasty and sloppy. The store manager should address this issue as it not the standard for Whataburger my home store is San Felipe which is always on point !

Did I get the cheese I paid for?
No!
Only one sandwich had pickles.
On top of that, Ordered at 629pm and was delivered 649pm A twenty minute wait to deliver a wrong order!
The only reason your getting 2 stars is becuase the food was hot at least.

Last time I visited this location was on Nov. 26 and employees here were rude to me but I didn’t tell corporate and next time I will. Next time they can keep their comments to themselves and I do not care what anyone has to say! Otherwise the food was good and enjoyed the Whataburger Jr combo with fries and drink.

I visited this location a couple of nights ago with my son. We ordered a kid’s burger and chocolate shake. The place was well staffed, but they appeared quite busy with drive-thru orders.
We waited 20 minutes and no food arrived, so I went to see what was going on. The staff then began making our order.
I had to reiterate that we wanted a chocolate whake. They gave us a vanilla shake.
I’ve never had a great experience at this location. TBH, I don’t understand how a whole dine-in order can be skipped. We likely won’t visit again.

This was my first experience at a Whataburger. And the service was great and friendly. Atmosphere was decent for a fast food chain – it was clean.
However, the burger are just not good. Neither the regular nor the chicken. Not even close to a In-N-Out Burger or other burger chains. Ok for a quick meal once a month. But that’s it

The Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit is delicious! And the music selection at this location is sooooo good! Come take a load off and enjoy the experience!
