12/10/25 – My hubby had a taste for Parks so I called and spoke to Monica who was very pleasant and helped me with my order. The total was $44-45.00 for a slab! My hubby brings it in, and we unwrap it. The meat LOOKS OLD AND DRIED OUT! After tasting it, we agreed the rib tasted like OLD MEAT. After eating 1-2 bones, we threw it out. $45 down the drain. Sad that we try to support Black businesses, and they do this. We won’t be back. Do better b/c serving nasty dried out food that tastes like shoe leather, will SURELY get your place CLOSED DOWN in this economy. #DISGUSTING

The rap music was cool but extremely loud I had to order in a yell. Service was good, very nice, mac n cheese is death take that off the menu or get the right person to do it. I thought it was extra sauce as little the container was. Not goof on taste or valve. My ribs and sauce are consistsnt the sauce us what I like the ribs were just ribs. Next time I will just buy the sauce.

I wasted $25 on this. Sorry Food absolutely disgusting. The rib tips were very tough. The sauce was horrible, which was mild runny sauce. The sides came in a tiny container. The greens taste like water not a piece of salt in it. The mac & cheese was the worst part, they should have just used box and if they did they use the cheapest of the cheapest do not waste your time here and the lady that answered the phone does not sound like she wants to serve you !!!! Absolutely not !

Haven’t been home to the D in a minute a good long minute planned on when I came back home I was going to hit Young’s BBQ Parks BBQ play Nikki’s BBQ.
Dim used to be my spots and I would pick one every different weekend and hit number one was youngs GONE, number two was parts and then a great friend of mine an elder turn me on the Nikki’s after I figure out the recipe and the methods have perfected my own.
DEPENDS ON THE TIME OF THE DAY AND THE WEEK AND MOST DEFINITELY ON THE WEEKEND YOU GOT TO BE THERE BEFORE THE AFTERNOON LIKE BEFORE 1:30 P.M. THEY USED TO ALL THREE BE OK LONG AS THEY KEPT THEIR PAYMENT UP WITH THE HEALTH INSPECTOR, AND
IT ALWAYS DEPENDED ON THE COOK.

This business closing maybe it needed to happen. Big lady with the braids absolutely rude to my grandmother, she had a pick up order and trying to reach out to talk to someone who worked there and get her order picked up and she telling my grandmother to get out her face and get to the back of the line and she ended up just leaving. Hire respectful people who will not tarnish the name of your business!

It used to be the best. Now it’s a hit or miss. One day your food is perfect, the next time you go, it’s burnt. The bread is usually hard. I once got two hard end pieces of bread. I used to love this place, but they could care less about quality or Consistency. Sauce is good, that’s it. Cost too much for what you’re getting. Staff was nice. Outdated and could use a makeover. Tital update, the neighborhood is changing for the better. Safer surroundings. Good parking lot. Needs better management in terms of quality control. Not bad turnaround. It’s great if you’re lucky. Small end was not cooked good.

My uncle told me about this place from when he used to work for the city. Wow, is this place lousy. Aside from the fact you pay a fortune for the food, it’s mediocre at best. The sauce on my ribs and chicken was just mild Franks red hot sauce, and there’s no smoked flavor at all. Truly a disappointing experience. It will be my first and last time here.

Food was absolutely awful. They sell old overpriced bbq it was tough, smelled, and inedible. The Mac & cheese was disgusting and tasted old. I ordered a small and recieved what looked like a condiment sized portion. I couldn’t finish it nor would I at the risk of possibly getting sick and the taste. Never Again!

Yesterday I went here for the first time. Ordered a small end dinner with potato salad, Cole slaw and an extra side of French fries. paid $29. I ate a piece of the small end yesterday, a few fries, a 1 of the two pieces of bread that comes with it. The food was Not finger licking good. And for the price I really feel ripped off. The sauce is thin like hot sauce, doesn’t have any bit of bbq sauce flavor either. The fries are thin almost like shoe strings. I haven’t even looked at the potato salad or Cole slaw yet. I’m very disappointed. If the food was delicious it would’ve been different. But nope, this is not it. If it was this food would’ve gotten diminished yesterday instead a little nibble here and there.

This was my first time going to this carry-out only restaurant. I went there right before they closed for the night so they didn’t have any more rib tips which I understood. I was hungry so ordered small sides macaroni and cheese and greens so I could have something to eat. One thing that turned me off is that the sides were keep in small styrofoam containers in a refrigerator and they have a microwave that they heat the sides up in. They heat the sides in the styrofoam container which is a BIG no no for me. I was temporarily distracted so I did realize the cashier put one of my sides in the microwave and when she took it out, she said, “I have to heat up your other side.” I kindly asked her if she could give me new sides from the refrigerator so I could take them home and heat them up myself. She said sure no problem. Styrofoam is already not a great product to store food in and the chemicals its made of can seep into your food especially when its heated up in a microwave. It should only be used for temporary food storage and food/drinks should be transferred to more food safe containers as soon as possible. This is carry-out only restaurant so I get it, but heating food up in the microwave in styrofoam containers was a big turn off for me.
