I’ve been trying to eat better and I love authentic Chinese food! I dropped in to the restaurant with friends and had an excellent meal and learned so much about the regions the food came from . The food was excellent , authentic, and worth the short wait. Come hungry or share with friends… this is real Chinese food! Order #6 the Spicy Fish (it’s great)and say hello to the owners! Xie xie!!!

Very clean inside. The food was fresh and flavorful. Priced well and great service. We will return again if we come back to Orlando

The fish was actually quite tasty, but the portion was extremely small. The food came out painfully slow, and they wouldn’t offer a refund even if you didn’t want to wait. We ordered smashed cucumber, and it still hadn’t arrived after an hour. Definitely do not order the scallops — the shell is just a prop, there’s almost no scallop meat and no flavor at all. The soup dumplings are clearly frozen, and the stinky tofu is bad — it’s just smelly, not fragrant at all.

Probably one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in Orlando. The service was very slow, and the food came out all over the place. We ordered the grilled gluten skewers 烤面筋and the boiled fish — the skewers were as tough as chewing on a shoe, with the flavor entirely from the seasoning. The boiled fish was bland and tasted like a pre-made dish. I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. Definitely not recommended.

I ordered the lemon fish and it was delicious the last few times I had it, but maybe they changed the recipe this time…it had no bean sprouts, lemon slices, or the flat tofu noodle things! But it had huge potatoes slices for some reason. I don’t really like potatoes, so I was a little sad. Hopefully they change it back to how it was before.

amazing!
If you’re thinking about traveling to China or craving authentic Chinese flavors, you really don’t need to go far!

I’m Korean, and the dishes here suited my taste perfectly.
The fish was especially good—almost like a mix between Korean spicy fish stew and a mild version of Chinese mala soup.

I usually can’t handle strong mala flavors, but the seasoning here wasn’t overpowering at all. If you’re sensitive to spice or not used to bold spices, it might be a good idea to mention it when you order.

The chicken dish on the side, served with cucumbers, had a refreshing salad-like vibe and was really enjoyable. If you want a hearty Chinese meal that’s more than just dumplings or Panda Express-style dishes, this place is definitely worth visiting. The interior is clean and modern, and overall I was very satisfied!

This was our first visit to Boiled Fish in Orlando, and while the food impressed, the service left a lot to be desired. The restaurant felt new, but in a way that wasn’t charming. Waitresses frequently mixed up orders, leading to frustration for several patrons. We witnessed one unhappy customer storm out after arriving early but being served later than walk-ins. Another customer returned their drink due to an error. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t entirely smooth either. Despite arriving on time, we ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes because the kitchen forgot one of our dishes.

Thankfully, the wait staff was friendly and apologetic, trying their best to manage the chaos. It’s important to note that the restaurant was only half full at the time, making the disarray even more surprising.

If you have a strong tolerance for potentially messy service and are willing to wait, Boiled Fish offers some truly delicious and authentic food. However, for those who prioritize a smooth dining experience, it might be best to wait until they’ve ironed out some kinks.

The fish-flavored Shredded Pork was flavorful, the pork was a little tough. The stir fried soy bean sprouts were good with “wok hey”. I would not use the authentic word for those two dishes. The rice was stale. The service was fine. It was kind of strange that at least two tables were not cleaned after customers left during our lunch.

Wonderful experience! The ambiance is cool and inviting, with a stylish color theme that sets it apart. The food is packed with flavor, and each dish is beautifully presented. It’s a different but better Chinese option in the area—what a great surprise! Definitely a must-try for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience!

We had an awesome experience here! We had a long trip, and we needed an excellent meal to recharge. They have 100% authentic Chinese food!! The fish is fresh and tasty! They also have some great street food! And the place is bright and clean, very well-organized. The service is also great, and we felt welcomed. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to try authentic Chinese cuisine!
