I’m a big fan of Mexican food, and this place definitely hit the spot. The service was super friendly, and all the waitresses are really lovely to look at. Plus, the alcoholic drinks they served were top-notch. It was a great experience all around. I’d totally recommend it!

BEST Mexican food we’ve found in 30 years living in Texas! We will definitely go back. We wanted to tip the Chef as well as the Waitress.
Lower score for atmosphere only because we were caught off guard by the skimpy clothing on the posters and Waitresses. Only a couple of family friendly seating options where the posters could be avoided.
Generous portions. Not over spiced (hubby doesn’t do spice) but spice options were offered at the table.

Nachos were huge and the steak was delicious.
The beans tasted like they had chorizo in them and this won me over.

This is our new favorite restaurant! We’re passing through and by chance sat in for meal. The portion is huge and tastes delicious! Lunch special with tea is below $10. We’ve came back again and will definitely come again here when we have the chance! Chips & salsa, Texas plates, pork chop plate, caldo de pollo are all great. Did I also mention, for what they serve it’s totally worth the price! Service is great w we enjoyed our experience here!

Very good Mexican food! The puffy tacos were real puffy tacos, not flat like other places. The bean & cheese, fish & fries, enchiladas w/guisada were awesome . Tge staff was very courteous and professional and helpful! Will come again.

Came to Candela Grill Mexican Restaurant as a referral from a coworker and I was not disappointed, I ordered the Jalisciense which is a fajita steak covered in sautéed onions with charro beans, rice and a side salad and it was all amazingly delicious, will definitely be back. Plus I even tipped the cook cause he did an awesome job cooking my meal. Thanks
