Great food, decent service… idk if it was me or that it was a slow sunday but the room felt cold and empty (Yes there were other tables).

We only get to Damon & Co about once a year because they are about 3 hours from our home. But they are so fabulous that we strive to find a reason to get there at least once a year. We usually try to get there on a Thursday since that is Fried Chicken day. The food is absolutely fabulous. The coating is thick, and crunchy with a great seasoning flavor. Last year, we didn’t get there on Thursday, so we had BBQ instead. Given the broad range of food on their menu, it was surprising just how flavorful their BBQ is. My only down-side message is that on Thursday, there are so many people ordering Fried Chicken that it will probably take a long wait for your food to come. Ours took about an hour, but it well worth waiting for it. There are multiple rooms….some are nice and quiet, while others are rather bustling. You have your pick.

Damon’s ROCKS! LITERALLY! I don’t think I’ve ever been there when the place wasn’t packed, whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The place is gigantic, and there’s plenty of seating outside. There’s even another bar down at the other end of the building. I love going there for brunch. There’s just something special about mimosas and eggs.

The food here is so delicious!! The atmosphere is very comfortable! The best thing about this place is the staff!! Kimmie is AMAZING!! She greeted us with a big smile and didn’t miss a beat! She’s right on the ball and seems to really enjoy her job! 10/10 for sure!!

People are nice. It gets kind of like a biker place at times, but they are nice, I never seen trouble. It’s more of a country style place, than a big city place, where there are fights and trouble all the time. Not here I feel safe when I come here alone for lunch or dinner, or to get out for the evening to hear a band play.

I am still shaking after walking out of this place. Our server was one of the rudest people I’ve ever been sat with. Three tables that came after us got their food. When ours finally arrived it was cold. When my husband didn’t eat his she blamed the morning rush, did not apologize, charged us for the plate, and dropped the check without a word. She chatted with other tables but for us no drink refills, no acknowledgment of any delays. Every bit of space was dirty. The doors, the mirrors, the floors, the bathroom. We’re polite, patient customers. We couldn’t figure out why we were treated this way and we won’t be back.

Nice and clean place. They have a dining room separate from the lounge area. This time, the lounge was only open. They were serving the full menu there. Waitress was bartender also and was very nice and efficient. Other servers were nice too and were helping each other. Will go back if in area.

We have been wanting to go to Damon’s since we moved here, heard nothing but excellent comments about the food. They did not disappoint!!! Went for lunch today, we got 3 Gloucester Specials- cheeseburger, fries and a drink and 1 clam chowder with hush puppies. The chowder and the pups are very, very good our sister in law said, as always! She is a regular there. Mike and I got 2 of the cheeseburgers, both are great! My medium rare was perfect and juicy. Mike said his was delicious as well! His sister got the other cheeseburger, she also liked hers a lot! The fries were so good too, I had to ask for ranch to dip them in 3 times… But, other that the service was great! We had a sweet waitress too! If ya’ll are in the area stop on by and enjoy!!!

Kimmy was amazing she was super friendly and had tons of energy. Gorgeous patio seating. Food was good. We had the stuffed mushrooms and I had beef nachos. The beef nachos were huge definitely need a box. Great experience will be returning.

They only had one waitress and she was bussing tables and doing everything by herself. Not her fault for anything. It was a bit odd she told the other couple what the specials were and not me or my mom. She also forgot to give my mom napkins twice. The table should have a stack of napkins so we don’t have to ask. My moms fries were fine but mine were soggy and mushy. The atmosphere is a dark with no music which makes things a bit unpleasant to eat. The TV was on which was fine but it was on a news channel. I’m not sure I would come again and the food wasn’t something I’d expect. This place could use some potential. Not the worst but not the greatest.
