The garlic fries were another highlight — crispy, tasty, and the garlic flavor was just right . To finish things off, we tried the banana pudding shake and it was incredible! Sweet, creamy, and super satisfying
Another thing we appreciated was how quickly the food arrived after we ordered. The service throughout the visit was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly, regularly checking on guests and offering drink refills, which made us feel really well taken care of
Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Thanks for such a great visit!
I love the burgers and the size. They are not too huge and bigger than Dicks burgers. I like the ratio of meat to bun and the vegetarian mushroom option is out of this world. The fries are not too greasy and the wait time is reasonable given the long lines. I also love the hot dog. It’s hard to find a good dog at a burger spot and the beef is juicy and not overly salty.
Shake shack is fun, all ages, and the college vibe sets this location aside.
First, the burger. It was smaller than I expected – although the amount of toppings inside was decent – the buns were surprisingly small. Only 500 cal for a burger is pretty low,
especially one that costs nearly 7 and a half dollars
I thought the quality was pretty good, though
The buns were really soft and nice. Shake Shack seems to take the opposite route as some other places and undertoasts their buns – but here I found that it worked well
as the top was pillowy soft and the insides of each bun was buttered well. I didn’t like the fact that the mayonnaise was not spread on the bun though – instead it was in separate dollops
The smashed burger was pretty good – although I do have a similar complaint about it not being thick enough. However, it did taste quite good – as it was crunchy, and well flavored
I thought the cheese was also quite good and melted well on the burger patty. Wish there was a little bit more lettuce though
The part of this meal that I really liked more were the fries, however
After trying these, I’m pretty convinced that Shake Shack makes the best (or maybe second best to Five Guys) french fries out of any fast food place
That’s just the basic fries, however. These specialty fries were even better
I loved the kimchi seasoning on these. While I do wish a) it would have some actual spice to it and b) it was all over the fries instead of only on a few,
I found it added a fantastic seasoning – making this truly a unique french fry experience.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the Korean BBQ sauce – it just tasted strange and like a mix of too many different things though
The cheese sauce, however, was quite good and enjoyable
I also liked double dipping in the BBQ sauce first and the cheese sauce second
The portion of fries for the price was much better value than the burger as well
Overall, pretty high-end fast food – but would’ve been a lot better if the burger was larger
Burger: 7.5/10
Fries: 8.5/10
Overall: 8/10
Outta the 3 times I visited SS, this location had the best food. I’m not sure if it’s because I finally got the order to my liking, or they just simply did a better job than the other locations. (Though given that I was given stone cold frozen fries at the other place, the expectation was not high.)
We ordered barbecue burgers on lettuce, wrap, the mushroom burger, chicken nuggets, and cheese fries. Usually, I prefer In&Out over the price difference, but the fancy lettuce they use at Shake shack was very enticing. Nothing to complain about. Food was hot and fresh, and the tables were kept neat and clean for a self service joint.
Shake Shack is back on my radar
