Order pork chops
They came out very rare un cooked
They took them back must have put them in a microwave. They came out so hot the plate could have give u blisters. Still uncooked, cut into them and blood filled the plate. Waitress acted like so…. another employee came out and asked would I like something else.
Really I just wanted them to cook the pork chops. I just said just bring me a hamburger. As our party of 8 were finished eatting an 20 minutes later here comes the hamburger. Well cooked an was very good. I told the waitress there should be no charge for the chops or the hamburger
Our party of 8 got there bills, from a different waitress we did also, prok chops 18.95 hamburger 10.49 an the wife’s dinner 22.95 I ask to speak to the manager a different waitress told us there was no manger there at that time
An the 1st waitress had went home that took our order. An I had order pork chops an a hamburger what we had to pay for.
I highly recommend that this place in king n.c. town an country restaurant should be passed on by go down the road to the kings kitchen

Really nice restaurant. Food was good – bourbon glazed Salmon was awesome. My wife had the prime rib and loved it. Everything was good. Service was good — he was stretched pretty thin but what business isn’t these days. There were several holiday parties while we were there. We have eaten there before and will definitely return.

We got the fish and chips to go. They smelled awful. Very strong fish smell. Ate a steak and cheese in the restaurant, now husband has food poisoning. Definitely not what it use to be. Barely anyone there at lunch time. Last time for us.

7 of us went there last night for my mom’s 70th birthday. I think our servers name was LJ. (He is a tall, slim black guy) He was by far the best server I’ve had in my life. This man was so on point with everything, always beyond nice and patient. He had not just the whole wait staff sing my mom happy birthday but announced it to the restaurant and had them sing, too. There was never an empty glass or any of us going without anything. We went to leave and he just automatically brought us all to-go drinks. He’s the person ALL waitstaff should be trained by. The food was good, too. My steak was done wrong but LJ fixed that for me within a few minutes. The fried pickles and chicken tenders there are amazing. The prices are what you’d pay going to a fast food spot to buy some disappointment. This is my new favorite place in King to eat, for sure.

We are traveling from east TN to Bennetsville. I always look for something that reminds me of home from the atmosphere, southern hospitality and food. Town & Country checked all the right boxes for us. We will 100% be back next time we’re passing through. Dont argue with yourself about wanting to try the prime rib.. DO IT. it was fantastic. Service was amazing.

I grew up in King and grew up eating Town and Country. Took my kids for a quick meal tonight and after waiting 40 minutes for 3 burgers and a taco plate we were served food that had been under warming lamp entirely too long. We sent the top bun to be replaced as it was crumbling apart but should have sent the whole burger back, the lettuce was cooked. The taco shells were hard as well. This is the first time I have ever sent anything back here and we won’t be back.

Happened upon this little gem by happenstance. We were in town for a family reason and decided to hang around and celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing and the portion sizes can’t be beat!!! Our server was top notch. If we are in the area again we will definitely stop here again!

Tena was a great server. Food was good quality. I had Cheese Totillini with pesto cream sauce. Was good…but just no seasoning or real taste. Portion was generous. I feel this is just a half step from really incredible. Wife had pecan crusted chicken. Not overcooked. Great quality over white rice..but again, a half a step from incredible. Very nice bar. Beautiful outside seating. Good value…we will be back and try more items.

Got my order for pick up. Everything was cool at best. The chicken wings I normally get were about half the size. We pay the same price as we were there, but we got about 1/4 of the french fries. Very, very disappointing.
Follow up as of 9/23/2025:
I called the manager to let them know about the situation, and they just said thank you for letting us know. They didn’t even offer a free appetizer next time, or anything. Pretty sure we won’t be back.

Grew up going here. This place has always been great and has been able to keep up with the times! We always have great service and great food! They were a little short staffed today and everyone was pulling their weight to make sure everyone was taken care of. They have the best wings in King. Got them for take out and had to wait to eat them but didn’t feel like reheating them up in the oven, had them cold and they were still excellent!
