We will be taking a vacation beginning February 23rd and will reopen on March 28th.
See you then!
Since opening in 2015, Mama’s Boy Burgers has become a Tannersville favorite, offering a fresh take on classic American comfort food. They proudly serve locally sourced, grass-fed Angus beef from nearby farms, ensuring every juicy burger is a celebration of regional flavor. Alongside their celebrated burgers, guests can indulge in crispy buttermilk fried chicken sandwiches, all-beef hot dogs, and a variety of house-made sauces and fresh toppings. There’s also a wide variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. To complete the experience, they also offer a selection of rich, creamy ice cream perfect for a sweet treat after your meal.

Burgers were great and so was the one order of fries, no complaints. Noticed the cashier, a young woman, stare too long at me when she flipped the screen that prompted me to tip. Lowest tip was almost $11 which was outrageous; this was no waiter service so I’m not sure why I was prompted for a tip. And then, the strawberry milkshake is obviously not genuine as noted by this hot pink color. The taste was very artificial; this was not worth the $6. The root beer was good, but our cup was not fully filled. Food was good, but not worth the almost $41.

Just passing through and saw a sign, best of Hudson valley. Yep, sure was. Fresh local beef. It was amazing. The service was great! And they made a mistake with her burger , and offered to make a fresh one to make up for it. The service was amazing. If your anywhere near here on your journey, definitely worth stopping in.

Burgers were incredible, loaded with stuff and definitely got my money’s worth. Great service, great food, solid prices, definitely a must try in the area!

The ice cream was wonderful! Though it’s more frozen custard, which I actually love even more! I got just a plain vanilla and my partner got one of their special flavors, white chocolate peppermint I think it was.
It’s pretty pricey, but what can you do? We also loved all of the dog-friendly options. Our pooch wasn’t with us this time for our mountain getaway, but we know she’d devour all of them in no time. We’ll be back for sure.

What a gem! This place is a must if you are in the area! There is a wide variety of foods and ice cream/desserts to meet all dietary needs – vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. And it’s all DELICIOUS! The flavor is incredible – the cook definitely knows what they are doing! We had the falafel burger and the Big Daddy burger – the burger meat was so fresh and the combination of the house sauce, blue cheese and bacon was perfect. We also had a side of cheese tots – they were finished in 3 minutes! Their sundaes and knuckle sandwiches (with gluten free cookies) brought me back to my childhood! They also have food/desserts for pups which is a must when traveling with furbabies. The staff is wonderful! Mike, came right out to greet us the first night we stopped here. He brought out a bone for our furbaby and made sure we were well taken of on this trip and subsequent visits. We will absolutely be back and will make a special trip just to eat here again.

Mediocre. For the price of 35+ dollars for 2 burgers and 1 fries, you’d think it would be worth it. Extremely greasy, very bland with no flavor whatsoever, plain generic buns, fries were disappointing like the bottom of the barrel. Looked nothing like the photos I’ve seen on here. Food didn’t sit well long term either.

Love the food here and usually feel very welcome, but the guy working today needs to calm down about the door – as another reviewer described, our party wasn’t even inside yet and he shouted at us twice to shut it. It was open for maybe 5 seconds. We were so frazzled we just decided to go elsewhere. It was a very disappointing way to be greeted at a place we normally love and were looking forward to going to. Not sure if the electric bill is coming directly out of this guy’s checks, but I would recommend a chill pill

We visited Mama’s Boy for dinner after finding out they have several vegetarian options. They have a falafel burger, mushroom burger, and an Impossible burger. Both of us had an Impossible burger with fries and it was pretty satisfying. We made sure to grab some soft serve ice cream on our way out, which was also a nice treat. The service here is great. The guy that took our orders and served us was very friendly.

This place is so chill. Went with my partner & got a burger & fries with the Chipotle mayo on the side. My partner is extremely picky & he even loved the food. Very flavorful & the guy at the register was so chill. Love this place

We got a falafel burger, which was alright—not too bad. We mostly liked their tater tots and ice cream. We were big fans of their frozen chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I got a brownie sundae, but I didn’t like it because the brownie was really dry and hard to chew. I think we also got a mushroom burger, which was pretty good. The French fries were a little weird, but the tater tots were better than the French fries. We sat outside since the weather was pretty decent and nice.
