We recently opened Murphy’s Tap House in Louisville, CO to expand our restaurant brand, Murphy’s, further while still delivering the same great food. At Murphy’s Tap House, we have over 40 beers on tap plus an outdoor beer garden. We also still serve the same great Murphy’s food!

I really enjoy the diverse menu offerings at Murphy’s. Every time I go I have trouble deciding what to order. That’s a good thing, because it definitely has me wanting to come back for more! I also love beer so it’s fun to come in and see what’s on tap.
The staff is friendly enough but every time I go for lunch it seems like it’s a long time between seating, ordering, and being checked on. Slow service here generally. Last time I went for lunch it was 120 minutes for a two top by the time we left. I’m not the fastest eater or drinker so some of that is on me, but having worked in the food industry myself, I know that’s way too long. I also can’t speak to the full atmosphere because I’ve been sat in the same exact booth behind the host stand every time I have been here just a coincidence. It was also clearly a Chili’s in the past. I guess it’s probably pretty hard to redo an interior enough where that becomes less obvious, so I shouldn’t knock it for that, but there’s nothing really special to speak of about the atmosphere here.
The prices are a bit steep but typical for this type of establishment in Boulder County and surrounding areas.
I haven’t had a bad bite here though and will definitely be back!

Came in for the patio! Really nice outdoor setting. Left impressed with the food! All homemade dressing and sauces. Ordered a Hawaiian Chicken bowl. Great presentation and extremely fresh! Daughter had the Brunch French Toast which was a large serving that she absolutely loved! Very attentive staff. Worth a try!

So I’ve been to this place a few times, and it’s kinda hit or miss. Their baby ribs are *amazing* – so good! Their wings, on the other hand, are almost comically bad – it’s really weird that the same person (people?) who came up with recipe for the one came up with the recipe for the latter. That being said, there are plenty of places in the Boulder area to get decent buffalo wings, and basically zero places that serve baby back ribs at all (let alone delicious ones), so no big deal. The service is usually ok (it seems like they are friendlier when you are at a table versus when you are at the bar, but I might be hallucinating that), but on my most recent visit it was really disappointing – just an unpleasant experience all around. Now the fact that I was inspired to write a review after this one-star experience, and felt no desire to do so after a previous 5-star experience, shows I’m not exactly Mr. Positive. But I know I’m going to have nightmares about those buffalo wings. Total culinary PTSD.

Absolutely horrible food. We have had a good experience here before, but the food tonight was disgusting and flavorless, each order was prepared incorrectly in some way (rare steak when ordered well, undercooked fish came out cold, scorched wings with wrong sauce on them, prime rib meat in sandwich was pale and tasteless) but worst of all is multiple people in our group got violently sick less than 2 hours after eating there. Something was very wrong with the food, not just how it was made but the meat itself.

Second time we’ve had issues here, tonight we walked up to the bar, and have been ignored by the bartenders for over 10 minutes without even a hello. Other patrons arrived at the same time, sat at the bar and were immediately served their drink order. We decided to leave after they received their appetizers and we were still not greeted, no water nothing. I should also mention that we were the only Latino folks that we saw in the bar area or restaurant for that matter.
Never coming back, it’s a shame because the food is good and they have good beer.

Amazing food and staff! Super fast, friendly service. The Fiesta Steak Salad is one of the best salads I’ve had in my life and the sweet potato fries were perfectly paired with this awesome aioli. Unique cocktail menu and so many beer options. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Food was hot and relatively quick. Very tasty and good size portions. Booths are small. Lighting isn’t great.
