This place was awesome! Loved the food, atmosphere & the whole vibe of the place! It was like stepping back in time with a twist! I got the double cowboy burger! I walked out of here stuffed….but I picked up the amazing smores brownie before I left! Everyone loved it! I can tell the bacon was actually smoked! A+ experience!

This spot has so much character and charm. You can choose to sit inside or enjoy the outdoor seating, and the whole place feels like a step back in time. It’s a fun mix of an old-school gas station, a bait and feed shop, and a cozy café serving fresh meals and baked treats. The staff does a great job bringing everything right to your table, and the food tastes homemade and fresh. A really enjoyable stop with a unique, nostalgic vibe.

Captain’s Corner has the most delicious looking food on social media, so I decided to stop in after Eagle Days at Smithville Lake. The BEST burger I’ve had in my life & I’m a chef. ❤️ The young man at the counter was polite & service was amazing. The 2 young ladies making the food were amazing. I ordered the cowboy burger & fries. WOW!! I can’t wait to come back!! It’s a clean, little, small town place & I’m so glad I decided to try it. You’re my new favorite spot!! Thanks so much!

Such a cute place! Really good cheeseburgers. You can get a single or double. A single is plenty though! They’re big. And it’s like also a convenient store too. It took maybe 10mins to make our food. You order and then sit down. They only have 10 places to sit. There are picnic tables outside too.
The fries were really good too. They make their own cookies and pies as well! I got a cookie salad. It’s cookies crushed up and seems like whipping cream mixed in with it and some on top with oreos. It was like $4 for a small cup.

Fun place near Smithville lake. Counter service and reasonable prices. Food comes out quickly and is brought to you. Lots of burgers and sandwiches plus daily specials. The Indian taco was amazing! Lots of memorabilia and an old time store atmosphere.

This is an adorable little place. It’s in an old style gas station with a little store for your lake needs. They are famous for their burgers, & have awesome & unique daily specials. If you come after 1pm specials may be sold out. Breakfast is fantastic, soft biscuits & great gravy. There is a lot of love in this food!

Had breakfast at Captains Corner pretty much every day I stayed with family in Paradise. Super nice staff, friendly and efficient. Good food too and walking distance from the house. Great place to stop before a day on Smithville Lake.
