We absolutely loved the smoked salmon paninis — easily the standout of our meal and something I’d happily come back for again. The sweet crepes were also excellent and hit the spot perfectly. The savory crepes we tried didn’t quite shine in comparison, but they were still good and enjoyable.
Croques and coffee were solid as well — no complaints there. Overall, the food delivered, especially for breakfast or a light brunch.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was genuinely warm and attentive. We sat inside, but there are also nice street-side seating options if you want to soak in the vibe outside.
One small but important heads-up: bathroom availability is very limited. So this is not the place to count on for a restroom stop before, during, or after your meal — plan accordingly and find another spot nearby if that’s on your list.
Bottom line:
Great spot for paninis, sweet crepes, and coffee in a friendly setting. If we’re back in town during breakfast hours, we’ll absolutely return — mainly for that smoked salmon panini.
THE BENEDICT GALETTE is a whole wheat crepe with sliced salmon. It was tasty, but real salmon meat on the La Mar was better in my opinion.
Fresh squeezed orange juice with pulp complemented nicely.
Great patio tables to watch the world go by.
Service the last two times have been better. So I appreciate that as well.
