We are a family owned and operated restaurant that serves Mediterranean food at a very affordable price in Greenville and Goldsboro, North Carolina. We were established in 2013, when our owner and his famil decided they wanted to create a family friendly environment for every individual to enjoy authentic Mediterranean food through our variety of options. My friend has been ranting and raving about this place and today my husband and I got a chance to partake of the clean delicious cuisine. I saw a pic of the falafel plate and I had to have it. It was really delicious, especially the Mediterranean Salad( romaine was cut to perfection). The little sesame seed muffins were dee-lish. Since I am a food snob, my only complaint was it could’ve used a little pinch of salt. Other than that, Chef’s Kiss. Proportions were plentiful ( needed a human bag to take the rest home). We will dine here again as we are new to N.C. . The staff were super and genuinely nice. Thanks for the experience.

I got the Kubah which was decent just not my favorite. I won’t be ordering it again but I’d come back to eat here for sure. The hummus was super tasty. My wife got the gyro which was delicious as well.

I have traveled quite a bit and I must say, this is one of my favorite restaurants. The flavors are simple and clean and very very flavorful. If you live in Greenville NC or simply traveling through. This is a place you must stop to eat at.

What a hidden gem!
My husband and I ate here in October of 2025 while visiting the area on business. Where we live, we don’t have any options for Mediterranean cuisine, so we decided to try out Bateeni for something outside of our normal options. We are glad we did!
We dined in. I had the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and falafel and my husband had the beef kabob plate with hummus and grape leaves. Everything we ordered was served to us piping hot and was DELICIOUS. The portions were more than generous – enough food for each of us to eat at least 3 meals. We were provided to-go containers by the friendly and helpful staff so our excess food didn’t go to waste.
While we were there, two staff members were present and both were friendly and welcoming.
The dining room was mostly empty, but we figured it was because it was well past 7 pm. As we ate, a handful of folks came and went with to-go orders.
We’d definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will make a return visit when in the area again.

Always a 10/10. Make sure to get the mint lemonade, it’s made fresh to order and absolutely incredible.

I’ve come here a few times. Brought my brother so we could have food we grew up eating. The people that work here are incredibly kind, the food is reasonably priced, water in the metal cups goes so hard, and the food is unbeatable.

Located in a strip mall. They have take out or dine in service with no wait staff. I opted for take out.
Not the most welcoming staff by any means. Waited 30 mins for my food and it was mid day so not busy. I would have went somewhere else if I knew the wait would hav been so long. Dinner plates were about $16.
Food was average. Not bad but Nothing that I need to go back there for. Mostly due to mediocre service.
