Over the years a lot has changed. Some good, some bad. In business sometimes you need to make necessary changes to stay in business. Funny thing about places like Lee’s is we keep coming back because it’s consistent. The last 4 or 5 years has consistently been changing. Prices go up it is what it is, however increasing prices while lowering quality is the wrong move. No more will I allow yall too charge me $12 for 3 wings and hard as a rock cold biscuit, the pink lemonade taste like it was made in the bathroom. I have no idea what they were thinking with the wedges. They used to be so good, it’s like the laziness is showing through the food quality. If I wanted half a potato, literally potatoes cut into four pieces and there’s your wedges. That’s cool if that’s what yall are going for but it’s so far from the original recipe. This is the last time. I keep coming back thinking the new owners are just finding their feet. Well I’m done, cheers!!

Im sorry but this is the worst food I’ve had at a restaurant! The chicken didn’t taste like chicken the potatoes were gross and the biscuits were salty and then I had the taste of chlorine in my mouth! Nobody in my house liked it! I would give it a 0 stars if I could. I had a bullet Cheerios, and it tasted better! Gas station chicken is better. Sorry

Below is my 4 piece baby sparrow meal for $12.00. To make matters worse I couldn’t eat the very small thigh because it wasn’t cooked all the way through and the little wings were overcooked. I’ve been going to Lee’s Famous Recipe for 40 years but I believe I’m done with them now. They also left 2 Mac and cheese orders out of the bag. I didn’t take pictures of my daughter and wife’s food although my wife’s chicken strips were too overcooked for her to eat.

Tried to eat here twice in a week. Hours posted on door said they were open until 9pm. 1st time there, doors were locked at 6:55, only drive thru open. Got in line at drive thru and ordered, only to be told 15 minutes later when I got to the window, that they were out of what I wanted. Went back three nights later, doors were locked at 6:05 pm. Did not wait, 8 cars in drive thru lane. I will not be trying this place again, permanently off my list.

they had a really small but cool car show out front when I went thru the drive. it had a nostalgic kinda feel as a few people sat in lawn chairs out front of the building and smiled and waved. gotta say it just kinda reminded me of years past…

The sides and biscuits are really good, but I have NEVER gotten a fresh piece of fried chicken from here. Every single time, it seemed like the chicken had been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time. I am still curious as to what Lee’s fried chicken tastes like when it’s fresh, because after trying 4 times now, I still don’t know!

Everything is all dry the biscuits are hard as a rock the girls in drive-thru do not listen to your order I get all the way home with my food and this is not what I ordered. E-Town Lee’s Famous Recipe is much better they need to shut down old third down that’s why I stopped going to them for 5 years
