If you love South Indian food, you have to check out this place! My recent visit was amazing—the food was incredibly tasty and felt genuinely authentic.

They have a huge variety of dishes, and I loved that they offer meal sets to make it easy for anyone to enjoy a full South Indian meal. Everything was served hot and fresh, and you can even choose how spicy you want your food.

The best part was the service. Mr. Karthik, the owner, was super friendly and made sure everyone enjoyed their meal. He gave great recommendations and greeted us when we arrived. The waitress was also very nice and helpful.

Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone wanting to enjoy real South Indian food. I give it 5 stars without hesitation!

The food was really good, and you can truly feel the authenticity of South Indian cuisine in every dish. Everything was appetising, freshly prepared, and served hot. There’s also a wide variety of choices, including convenient set meals for those who want to enjoy a complete South Indian dining experience. You can even choose your preferred spice level, which makes it even better.

As for the customer service, the owner, Mr. Karthik, goes all out to ensure every guest enjoys their meal. He offers helpful recommendations, greets customers warmly—even from outside—and serves with genuine sincerity. The waitress was also very pleasant and attentive.

Overall, it’s definitely a place worth visiting for anyone wanting to indulge in authentic South Indian food.

The warm and friendly welcome is what got us in the door. The chefs in the kitchen put out decent Indian fare…whilst not outstanding, it did not disappoint. I’d give the food 3.5 stars if I could. The portions were generous, and the service was attentive and timely. The fact that they have Indian wine on hand was a plus in my book.

We had a wonderful experience at New Jawad Opéra. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Butter Chicken and the Biryani – both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Portions were generous, and everything was fresh and well-presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic halal Pakistani/Indian cuisine in Paris.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best Indian meals ever! The flavors were authentic, rich, and beautifully balanced. From the creamy butter chicken to the spicy biryani, every bite was full of traditional taste. The naan was soft and fresh, perfect for scooping up the delicious curries. The aroma of the spices, the vibrant presentation, and the warm hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Whether you’re a fan of North or South Indian cuisine, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended for true Indian food lovers!

The entire experience is incredible. I wasn’t anticipating such a fantastic shop atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding customer service. The proprietor (I believe) is remarkably amiable. It’s refreshing to enjoy great food with friendly individuals. This is an excellent spot to indulge in Indian cuisine, both from the south and north regions.

I was really looking forward to eating at this Indian restaurant in Paris, but the food was honestly terrible. I ordered the paneer butter masala, and it came out bright orange, clearly loaded with artificial coloring instead of proper spices.

The flavor was completely off and tasted nothing like the classic dish. The naan and chicken were just as bad, undercooked, bland, and almost inedible.

For the prices they charge, I expected at least authentic taste and proper cooking, but this was a huge disappointment.

Definitely not recommending this place.

The waitress was very nice and spoke Tamil to my family. The food wasn’t exactly what I pictured it would taste like, but was still good! Tasted fresh and they respected our requests for low spice levels.

I am not sure if its 100% authentic but it tastes so amazing. Personally, i felt it tastes even better to restaurants in Indian. The spices are strong but not overpowering, there’s an excellent balance within my palate. We ordered really simple food: tandoori, mutton bryani and dhal. Its so simple yet really delicious. Well done

I recently dined at passage de pondicherry! and had a fantastic experience! The **cheese naans** were absolutely delicious—soft, buttery, and packed with just the right amount of cheese. They paired perfectly with the rich and flavorful curries. I also tried their **thali**, which was a delightful spread of well-balanced dishes. Each component was fresh and full of authentic flavors, from the aromatic dal to the perfectly spiced vegetables. The portions were generous, making it great value for money. The service was prompt, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for tasty Indian cuisine, especially their cheese naans and thali, pondichery restaurants is a must-visit! **Highly recommended
