Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely recommend Hawkers if you are looking for good Asian street food.
We weren’t sure about getting an appetizer and decided against it. They gave it to us for free so we could try it. 5 stars for service for sure!!
My top recommendation is definitely the Popolos Chicken Curry (the one I shared in my video) – it’s absolutely delicious and a must-try. I’ve also had the beef wide rice noodles, their Pad Thai, and a few of their small bites like buns and spring rolls – all of them were really tasty. And don’t miss out on their Thai Iced Tea, it’s one of my favorites!
The atmosphere is super fun – the décor reflects different cultural elements, and the cocktails are also amazing. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a bar inside and plenty of tables outside, which makes it perfect for a group hangout.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get – most dishes are between $10–20, and I usually spend around $15 for a good lunch (before tip). On top of that, the service has always been friendly and attentive.
Overall, this place has great food, a lively atmosphere, fair prices, and excellent service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for delicious Asian street food in a fun setting!
This place is so cute, cozy, and an absolute vibe. The music was on point, and I loved the indoor-outdoor setup – it really gives you those laid-back Cali vibes.
Our waiter, T, was amazing. A few of the items we ordered were unfortunately out of stock, and he wasn’t aware until after we had been seated for a bit. But he handled it perfectly! He made it right by bringing out some complimentary items for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated. His service was on point – great banter, super knowledgeable about the menu, and just genuinely kind and pleasant to be around.
This is such a fun spot with good food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks, T and Wanita, for making our visit so enjoyable!
Non-alcoholic drinks:
– Frui-tea Fizz: A++. Unexpectedly great!
– Thai Iced Tea: B+. Above average.
Food:
Roti Canai: A. The only downside is that the sauce is a bit too salty.
Bao Buns:
– Roast Duck: A++ (it was so good that we had 2 orders!)
– Chinese BBQ Pork: A
– Pork Belly: A
– C.K.T.: A+. The noodle texture was chewy. Great taste and not overwhelming flavor.
– Curry Lasak Ramen: B. Good flavor. The ramen was not soggy. It would be great if there’s another shrimp+some fish balls.
Clean bathroom!
Highly recommended. I’d definitely come back to try other dishes.
