Amazing fresh seafood! We had the Wahoo & Mahi Mahi. Fresh veggies. Gorgeous atmosphere. We ate outside on the patio.

First time visitor on Thanksgiving. I had heard that the Sunday brunch was outstanding and included complimentary bloodies, mimosas etc. and it was going to be the same for Thanksgiving as per the person taking our reservation. I was looking forward to having seafood! It was a disappointment. The only seafood item was a Cedar Salmon (which was a little dry but tasty) on the carving table and three types of sushi. The buffet included four types of salads however the greens were soggy from sitting. The buffet side items were standard holiday fare and deserts basically non-existent, just a few items and a chocolate fountain. What surprised me was that they did not include any complimentary beverages and then charged more per person than their standard Sunday brunch.
I must say the management and staff were very gracious dealing with the miscommunication and offered us complimentary champagne. The manager was especially helpful assisting with one member of our party and her dietary concerns. Our waiter was very friendly and provided excellent service.

My family and I were thinking of a place to go get some seafood other than our usual spot, Red Lobster. After looking around on Yelp, I found City Fish again, so we said let’s go there.
I first called ahead to reserve a table just to ensure that we wouldn’t be waiting on a Friday night. When we got there, we were immediately seated, even though the restaurant was pretty packed.
After we were seated, the server gave us our menus and took our drink orders right away. The menu is pretty large with your typical food you’d expect to find, seafood, salads, pasta’s and so on. We decided to start with the shrimp and lobster flat bread, which was delicious.
For the main course, I chose the shrimp and lobster pasta, which came as a rather large portion with some garlic bread, and was absolute delicious. Overall, our food was great, the potatoes au gratin are to die for, highly recommend them as a side.
The only reason I am not giving five stars is because of the server. We waited almost 15 minutes before he came back after we got our appetizers to order our main course. It appeared as if he was focusing more on a group of 8 that he had in his section, then the rest of us.
Will definitely be coming back here.

5 of us went for the first time. The hostess was very nice, showed us around before we chose where to sit. The waitress we started with cut her thumb, then it felt like every waiter and waitress was our waitress! to start with, The mussels were fantastic! each of us had a different dish, one of our party received their meal and had thought it would be different than what she received, on the first check by the waitress ” Charlotte “, who was awesome, she ask if all was okay? she ask my friend if she didn’t like her meal. my friend said she thought it was going to be different that what she received. without hesitation the waitress asked if she would like something else, my friend said no she ordered it she’s just going to deal with it and she wanted everybody else to eat her dinner. The waitress insisted on taking it back and bringing her out another dinner. So she let her do that and came out with crab legs that were to die for! The manager proceeded to come over and check on us and I think the owner did too but we’re not sure and it was just the best thing that could have happened all of the dinners were fantastic! I would highly recommend this place been to several seafood restaurants in the area really haven’t found any that would compare. And it helped that one of the people I was with is a chef and they were very impressed. You’ve got to go!

Had dinner here once.. the lamb is delicious! Great atmosphere. Good service. Then we came back for their brunch on Sunday – loved it!!! All the buffet food options are delicious and there are plenty to choose from. My only complaint.. dirty dishes and silverware.

The Sunday Brunch at City Fish is easily the best combination of value and quality in the Tampa Bay area. They have all your typical breakfast fare, a taco station, crab legs, oysters, pizza, sushi, carving station and a chocolate dessert fountain. They also provide you with the widest selection for included alcoholic beverages during brunch. I’d highly recommend checking them out. Even their Saturday breakfast is on point!

The food would have been good except that it was later in the evening, and it was clear they had not cleaned the grill continuously. The char on the fish had an overcooked, burned flavor rather than a clean, freshly grilled flavor. The service was substandard. It was clear the hostess and the servers were more interested in getting their side work done than paying attention to the customers who were still in the restaurant. Our main server was a bit impersonal, and barely stopped at our table to get our order. Every other time he stopped it felt as if he was in a hurry to get away as quickly as he could. The server who delivered our entree didn’t ask if we needed anything else, and walked away and left the salad and appetizer plates on the table when they were clearly stacked to be removed. Those plates stayed on the table the entire visit; even our main server never offered to remove them. They never refilled my empty water glass. When we left, the hostess turned her back and walked away as we approached the front door. She offered no departure goodbye. Very impersonal and uncaring. When the fare is similar to that at Bonefish, where we get excellent service every time, why would we come back to this? Clearly the management team and owners are not engaged. It was our first and last time visiting.

Excellent Sunday brunch, loads of selection and though the place is packed for brunch, the table turn over is pretty quick as we’ve never had to wait for too long to get a table. You cannot leave without trying the cedar plank grilled salmon! It’s delectable! A little pricey, but totally worth it if you’re treating your family only a few times a year.

Very nice place to eat, has an upscale feel to it. Great verity of seafood, steaks and wines and drinks. Sunday branch was awesome. We went there twice during our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, which is next door. I highly recommend it.
