Stopped in because of the reviews. Service was good. Atmosphere good. Two piece white broasted with onion rings and mashed potatoes. Potatoes were definitely from a mix, had that mix flavor. Chicken was served hot. However it was chewy. Onion rings were excellent. Root beer fountain drink wasn’t mixed well and kinda flavorless. Had hope it would be better.

It was a very busy place so be prepared for a wait ,but the food was very good and very reasonably priced. 2 kids and 6 adult meals plus drinks and it was less than 90$ . Good size portions also. Clow slaw was good and I usually don’t say that the broasted chicken was really good and my 7 year old granddaughter loved her spaghetti . 10 to 16 dollars for meals kids meals was only 7

The restaurant is clean and homey, and the food was excellent. I ordered the broasted chicken. It was delicious, and the portions were large. We ordered the Cream Puffs for dessert. They were excellent. The owner was very friendly. We will be back here to eat when we pass through Circleville again. My only complaint was that people at the booth next to ours who arrived 5-10 minutes after us received their food 5 money nutes before us.

Spacious restaurant, nice clean menu. Great selection of American food. Nice Philly Sandwich, nice pancake, hot chocolate. Coffee could be stronger. Nice fries. Yummy bacon and eggs.

I recently had a meal at Goodwin’s Family Restaurant in Circleville and left feeling pleasantly satisfied. The restaurant has a cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere—complete with classic diner booths and friendly chatter in the background. I tried their broasted chicken and it was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Their homemade onion rings were a tasty sidekick, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were comforting just like mom used to make.
The staff was warm and welcoming—our server greeted us right away and checked in regularly without being overbearing. Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable too. Whether you’re dropping in for breakfast, lunch, or the weekend buffet, it’s a reliable spot with solid, home-cooked comfort food. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in town!

Goodwin’s Family Restaurant is like your home town restaurant. The service, and the food was excellent. We stopped there for a late breakfast, early lunch. My girlfriend had soup & salad & I had breakfast. Both were very good.

I moved here from Washington State for work over a year ago and hadn’t tried this place. What a mistake! It has to rank as one of my favorite breakfast spots so far! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very nice. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be in town, but I’ll have to eat here as many times as I can before I leave. Highly recommend.
