Nostalgic old time burger. Those “shoestring” fries are a treat. Crispy outside yum. Get a fork to pop them easier. Save room for Freddy’s famous custard.

This was our first time to this particular Freddy’s. We are familiar with Freddy’s offerings. Hot dog, Burger, and Patty melt with fries and tater tots at our table. All was very good. All items were very warm. Manager came by and checked in with us briefly.
Appreciate that.
Atmosphere is not what we go to Freddy’s for. But I have no negative thoughts re: atmosphere.

The burgers are fresh, juicy, and full of flavor, and the shoestring fries are crispy and delicious. I especially love their frozen custard it’s the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. The service is fast and friendly, and the place is always clean.

Music was a little loud but I’m getting older. Wasn’t a detector as I always lam to my phone when eating. First time having one of their burgers, it was delicious. Had tots, yum. Smash burger style for the double bacon and cheese. Yum. The brownie concrete dessert was delicious. Everything is reasonably priced as any other place for the quality. Definitely a coin toss between Freddy’s and whataburger.

I never tried Freddy’s until I moved to Texas. First experience was great but went in today for my veterans combo and I won’t be back. Among the employees, there were two blonde women working. One of them had a tidy little bun and the other one was not so tidy. The restaurant was total pandemonium because of the number of people waiting to get a free meal for Veterans Day. I get it. Extremely busy and loads of work but that does not mean that customer service should suffer. Being that I don’t eat at Freddy’s a lot, I wasn’t familiar with the menu so when I was asked what combo I wanted by the not so tidy haired blonde woman, I told her I wanted a double but asked her if they do it animal style. Anybody who lives in this century pretty much knows what animal style is but she barked at me that she didn’t know what that was and that they could serve it in lettuce instead. This indicated to me she knew exactly what it was and she was just tired and angry. Again, the words customer service mean just that, customer service. Again, I won’t be back. Now for the food. My burger had way too much mustard and onions. I couldn’t even taste the burger. Not even worth it for being free. I’ll take my military husband and visit somewhere else next year. In my opinion, she did a huge disservice to somebody who served our country. Maybe she was angry because she can’t work at In-N-Out Burger where they actually treat people right, have great food, and make much better money than Freddy’s folks do. The scary thought is she may have even been a manager but I don’t know. Don’t care anymore.

Went for dinner. We ordered two meals, an order of fried pickles, onion rings, and two mini sundaes. The meals came with fries and a drink. The food was good, the french fries are not “regular” type fries. They looked like shoestring fries, but they were good. The custard sundaes were really good. The price was about $37. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and comfortable, staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food came quickly.

We have never had a bad experience at Freddys. Everyone is friendly and the food is always hot and fresh. Even if we get it to go and drive 15 minutes back home, the food is still warm and the fries stay crispy. My kids are huge fans of the chicken tenders.

Update; May 26th, Because the food and service being consistently very good, we always come here and will continue to do so.
Update: April 26th, We’ve been here multiple times recently and all because everything has greatly improved! The food quality is now great, the place is very clean and the staff is friendly. I believe this is because of the new manager who has done a great job. I will now increase my rating from 3 to 5 stars.
We came here for dinner tonight, October 9th. The place had only one customer, obviously not busy and every long table booth was disgusting. Food and drink residue everywhere. We used the one that was the least dirty, but unsatisfactory. Some crew member should have cleaned the tables and seats. They had plenty of time with only one customer. There were no napkins, ketchup or Freddy’s Sauce anywhere. We had to ask for everything. I noticed a huge puddle of water on the floor by the Frozen Custard Freezer that was close to the register and went back to where they make ice cream cups and cones. I pointed it out to the girl behind the counter and she mentioned to the girl next to her. She said, yes she knew about it and has been cleaning it up all day. This is a huge safety risk to customers and workers. Anyone can slip and fall. I hope they tell the manager so they can get it fixed. As for the food, it was ok to decent. Not great, but we may come back. Hopefully by then the tables will be clean and condiments will be available.

The shake was so tasty! The onion rings were probably the best around. The cashier was very friendly. It was clean.
