Extremely delicious steak, it really was worth the hype. It is however, very expensive, especially for the fact that the interior just looks like your average UK pub so it’s fine for a casual dinner. I believe there is a dress code but no one appeared to have upheld it, so if you try to dress up a bit, you may feel out of place.

Had the butchers block as medium rare. Most of the steak was nice but the sirlion was full of chewy fat I had to spit out.
The selection of sides that come with the meal are just various potato options which pair well with the choice of sauces.
Would absolutely recommend the mac and cheese but the bone marrow is maybe two mouthfuls of goodness.
Dave was a great server and definitely has amazing charisma.

A few weeks back my partner and I returned to Miller & Carter. This was our second time going and it did not disappoint! We were served by Lucy, who was nothing but warm and welcoming – great customer service! The food lived up to our expectation following the first experience. Safe to say this has become one of our favourite spots and we will returning soon no doubt. 🙂

Food was very tasty, steak cooked well and plenty of sides and garnish. The shareable cookie covered in ice cream and marshmallow was very indulgent.
Sadly service was lacking, long delay between starter and main, salad arrived ten mins before main. No one checked how the food was and ordered drinks that never arrived.

Food was great &service was some of the best I’ve ever had (thank you Lucy!). Was a bit confused about the random addition of pop/dance music and dim lighting at 10 to 6, but otherwise a lovely evening!

This was our first time visiting today and it won’t be our last! We chose from the set lunchtime menu and I had the calamari starter which was huge and absolutely delicious, so tender! Followed by the warm salad for mains which had roasted squash, cous cous, avocado, topped with loads of juicy king prawns. Very well priced too. The service was great and the food was all brought out fast. 10/10 I highly recommend.

We had pre-booked a table for 2 for 16:30 on a Saturday. It was less than half full at the time, but it still took about an hour for us to receive our meals. The drinks we ordered from the menu were also out of stock. It was evident that they were very short staffed and struggling. They did the best they could under the circumstances, but unfortunately, this fell short of a typical Miller and Carter visit, and therefore our expectations.

At the entrance there was no one attending the reception, he was actually setting up tables and escorting one booking at the time to the next table he made available. When we sat down the waiter approached us quickly, he explained also the menu. Consider it is a steakhouse I was expecting a better selection of wines. The food took a while, we specifically asked for the kids menu to come as soon as ready, they put together with our mains taking ages to be ready. The steak was very average, we had the 50days dry aged selection and I couldn’t feel any dry-aging flavour from the meat. It meant to be medium, I believe it was a slightly over towards the medium well. The waiter came to check back before we had the first bite and I asked him to come back later. At that point I realised his effort (I believe the team was struggling to keep up with the pace of the restaurant) and I didn’t mention anything to don’t drop his mood and motivation. But unfortunately we found it very average, especially one of the sauces, it was far away from chimichurri, we asked to have another one instead.
