I visited the John’s Creek location this evening for dinner and Vanessa was was server. I highly recommend asking for Vanessa when visiting this location. Super friendly, very nice lady. She greeted me within moments of sitting down. She listened well. Didn’t miss a beat! The management Charles was very attentive and very nice! He asked how my food was and had a small chit chat with me. I also expressed to him how refreshing it was to have service like Vanessa. Being that I had just visited the Cobb Parkway location last night and had horrible service from the host, to the server. Thank Goodness for awesome, beauty spirit people like Vanessa and Charles in John’s Creek to turn my Longhorns experience around in 24 hours! Great team from the hostesses, to management. I Ordered the chicken Parm. Yesterday I ordered the pepper steak. Both delicious choices. Although it surprised me, both locations were out of Brussels sprouts. Who knew it was a storage.

I recently placed an online to-go order from LongHorn and wanted to share my experience in detail. I ordered a ribeye steak, salmon, mashed potatoes, a baked potato, and a sweet potato. The ribeye was tasty overall and had that signature flavor you’d expect from LongHorn, but I found it to be extra fatty, which made it a little less enjoyable than I hoped. The salmon was just okay—it wasn’t bad, but it didn’t really stand out either. On the positive side, the mashed potatoes were excellent, creamy and seasoned just right, probably the best part of the meal. The baked potato, however, could have been fresher, and the sweet potato was decent but nothing memorable.
What surprised me most was the timing. The order was set for pickup at a specific time, but I ended up waiting an extra 19 minutes past that. Even with the delay, the food wasn’t hot when I received it, which was disappointing and unusual for a restaurant known for fresh, hot meals.
Overall, my experience was mixed. The flavors were mostly good, but the consistency and freshness were not what I’ve come to expect. I’d still eat at LongHorn again, but I hope next time both the timing and food temperature are better.

This was a nice experience! I will say though the steak seemed smaller than the other one I had in Orlando. But otherwise, the Mac and cheese was delicious and the baked potato was also good. Very flavorful steak. Overall a decent place.

Greeted by a young girl with her phone in her face, too busy to acknowledge us. Imagine the opposite of what you would want to see in someone greeting you, and this was her.
Food was decent. One of our orders (2 people) was not correct. Given the choice of either: one of us eating while the order was corrected, one of us waiting and eating cold food after the order was corrected, we chose to just eat what was given. We should not have to make that choice. No discount was offered. The server didn’t seem to care much and barely said “I’m sorry.”
It was busy on this Sunday, so, I’m sure the owner will ignore this negative review. But make no mistake, negative experiences like this add up. I’ve been coming to this location for 15 years about once a month, but may not come back for another year. I am easy to please, just need good food and polite service. People get tired of spending $55 for two sodas, wrong food orders, and apathetic/rude service.
If you’re the owner and you care, shock me by responding to prove it. Otherwise, I can only conclude that your staff is a direct reflection of you.

Me and my bro in law came here for dinner. We waiting about 30 mins for a table and it was very prompt and quick process. Staff here is very friendly as well. Well we sat down and he ordered a steak and shrimp and I order the porterhouse, his came out perfect and he enjoyed the meal but I went through an improperly cooked steak 3 times. I asked for medium rare and the first one came out more well than my bro in law’s medium steak! The second time, idk what happened but they brought me back my steak even more well done(yes the same one!!) the 3rd time, I can clearly tell the cook back there was doing a horrible job as my new steak came out almost well done again. It was in between medium and well done, but I ordered a medium rare. So the GM was called to our table and he made sure to go back there himself and take care of this matter instantly. He made sure my steak was properly made, sadly, I had to take it to-go cause I had lost my appetite, but he also went above and beyond by making sure the tab was correctly adjusted! Thank you so much Mr. GM AND TO OUT SERVER miss shakira, BY DOING A SPECTACULAR JOB!

Awful, just plain awful. The only thing going for this place is the bread, the rest of the food is terrible. I ordered a chicken parm, I got 3 separate chunks of chicken breast (almost like i got what other diners hadn’t finished) which was partly covered in parm, but mostly plain. For sides I got brussel sprouts and the loaded potato. The potato had almost no toppings, so it’s was insanely dry and flavorless, and the sprouts we the saltiest thing I have ever eaten. Service was OK, we got a single refill and were there for at least an hour, frankly I’ve been to better longhorn locations, avoid this one unless you need the electrolytes.

Our server Vanessa S was truly outstanding! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Her energy was warm, her attitude was professional, and she checked on us at all the right times. The food was amazing, but the service made the whole experience even better.

Wow. It’s been a while where everything was just spot on! Gray, our server was polite, very attentive, knew the menu, bussed away dishes at every visit and did not miss a beat! The bread was great, salad-perfect and the porterhouse steak was delish! Cooked exactly they way I ordered it. My Wife’s Cowboy Porkchops had her raving as well. Excellent job LongHorn & thank you for a wonderful total experience with our meal!

We ate here the other day and while the service was friendly, it was not great. We split the bill and my card got charged for both halves of the tab. I do not remember even being asked if we needed more water or anything during the meal. The steaks tasted fine but were definitely a little undercooked and tough to cut through. One of our party members felt sick the next day as well.
It was not at all busy when we went so not sure why these mistakes were made but hopefully this was a one-off experience.
