My son and I had dinner here. The food was absolutely delicious. Felt like I was at grandma’s house having dinner. Not a very fancy place but very clean and comfortable. The service was great too. Prices are comparable to the local buffets around this area. The taste and quality of the food will keep you coming back for more. Not a huge selection on types of food but enough of a selection for most people that I know. Whoever is preparing this food sure knows how to cook. I’m grateful for that. Hahaha. Hands down the best tasting buffet in this area for certain. Family owned and operated for 31 years. Keep up the outstanding work. Thank you.

I seen this place on NC hidden gems so we decided to try it out. From the outside it looks a little dated as well as the inside but it’s clean. Upon entering the staff was very friendly and helpful. Once you pay you take your ticket around the corner and give it to the staff who then takes it and makes your plate for you. This caught me off guard at first but it was actually nice.
Now as far as the food goes it’s very good, several of the food items are home made as you can tell by the taste and textures. We had plenty of meats, Salisbury steak, chicken, ribs, meatloaf, brisket, flounder. Side dishes were plenty as well, the homemade made Mac and cheese topped my list, as well as what I would say the chicken and dumplins are homemade as well. Plenty of desserts which are amazing and a decent salad bar.
The part that may catch some people are the paper plates and plastic utensils, but I actually liked the idea. Of you are ever in the area you have to stop in and give them a try. We actually drove an hour and twenty minutes to try it and we will definitely be going back again.

Grandma Hoyt’s did an amazing job for my wedding reception catering. Their food… AMAZING! Reasonable pricing so I didn’t go over my budget. I had so many people asking me where I catered my wedding dinner because of how delicious everything was. Highly recommend checking them out.

The owner and wait staff are absolutely phenomenal! I was greeted upon entrance and felt like I was down home! I told them it was my first time, and they gave me the complete rundown. I loved it. I started with meatloaf and many sides. I most definitely suggest the meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, collards, and cornbread. A great lunch all around. Having a bit of a sweet tooth compelled me to try all of the desserts. I could not find a dessert that I did not like. The star of the show was the key lime pie. ⭐️ It is obvious why this restaurant and wait staff have received The Best Buffet award! I am most definitely returning to this gem!

I invited my friend Karen to lunch here, she declined. A year ago, she visited & didn’t hv a good experience. My daughter and I had a Great Experience. Nice greetings. The servers were polite. The food was good. No bad smells in seating area. Good parking. Clean restroom. *I left a good tip. I’ll revisit again, hoping to share the same experience. Very affordable.

My husband and I went here for a late lunch. It’s buffet style dining. They had a varied selection of meats and vegetables to choose from. I got chicken and dumplings with green beans, mashed potatoes and fried squash. I thought the food was good and plentiful. They also have a dessert bar where I got the banana pudding. (Also good).
My husband got baked chicken and the meatloaf with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. He also got banana pudding and a pineapple cake. He said he enjoyed his meal.
I thought the people working there were very friendly and quick to offer help with serving your food from the buffet. No waiting for service here. For being later in the day they had a steady flow of customers without it being crowded. I’m not sure what it would be like at lunch. Plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely go here again.

The food always tastes fresh, homemade, and filled with that classic Southern flavor you can’t fake. Every time I visit, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels just like sitting down to a family meal. Their buffet has great variety, and everything is seasoned perfectly.
