Went to David’s to order some food and soup. The soup was busted and all in the bag. It was soaked in soup. The potatoes were burnt. And the food was over all not good and a disappointment. Really let down on the quality here.

This place is comfort food 101. It’s basically an IHOP in spirit but locally owned. Everything there is tasty, hearty and made with the love that comes with a place like this. We’ve tried all kinds of items with the latest being the mushroom and feta omelette and the Caesar chicken wrap. Both great. But honestly, the onion rings are the star of the show. Beer battered goodness. Taste like your best memory of onion rings. Adore them. We always stop there when we visit Asheboro and it’s a great time. And, in honor of the late, great David Lynch, they make a damn fine cup of coffee.

I’ve eaten at this establishment about 5 times and have always been pleased with both the service and the food. Today we sat outside on the open patio. They have lights that are sure to make the evening atmosphere very pleasing and relaxing as well.
Today I had the crab stuffed avocado. It is served with fruit and cottage cheese. My daughter substituted her cottage cheese for potato salad. It was a very beautiful plate and tasty! I will be getting that dish again. The skillets are also very delicious!
They have a large selection of items sure to satisfy any palette.

Came from out of town with a group of nine people. A quick search said that this was a great place to go for the soup and the atmosphere. The soup was a very filling clam chowder. I wish I could put some Old Bay on it, but for the South I will take it.
The burger that I got was well cooked, it had the right amount of bacon, and came with a filling amount of fries. There’s a plus to have the availability of cheerwine to wash down the food. We were served any timely manner considering the number of individuals that were along at the peak of dinner hour on a Friday.
There was a calm, cheery, and country ambiance to the place. David’s definitely fit the wide variety of menu options we were looking for. Only one of us got breakfast, but it appeared to be high quality. I definitely recommend trying that out especially the stuffed items and crepes. I recommend trying it out for yourself.

We loved David’s huge menu with so many choices. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit. We’re not from the area but visit the zoo several times a year. I highly recommend David’s as a comfy spot with great food after a long visit to the zoo!

The soup of the day we got with our meal was amazing! My wife’s sandwich was great but my fish and chips was a-okay. No one’s fault since Asheboro is very far from the ocean but this doesn’t impact our view on the rest of their food! Our waitress was friendly and efficient and the restaurant is clean and very welcoming

A lot of different items to choose from. Reasonable prices. The food we had was satisfactory. The service was ok. Our waiter wasn’t very friendly. He didn’t say two words. The ladies that sat us were friendly.

A good place for breakfast, the food was quickly prepared and not too expensive. I highly recommend the fruit plate with cottage cheese, it was surprisingly fresh and ripe. The atmosphere is a little cramped and the waiting area is very small. The service was pretty quick, I placed my order to go and waited. New pictures 8/16/20
