We were passing through town and starving, stop here for a bite. Everything, from the apps to the cocktails to the food, was absolutely delicious. We were greeted by a smiling team on the way in, and our server Conner was very kind and attentive. Prices were very reasonable as well. Would def recommend Wood n Tap!

Went for the first time today and would definitely return. Great food and drink selection and decent prices. Our table has kids meals, a salad, burgers and a salmon sandwich. No complaints from anyone! The Steak salad was delicious, came chopped and tossed in the dressing so it was ready to eat. Burgers were cooked to the requested temperatures. Salmon sandwich was good (piece was on the small side)
Really enjoyed the fall margarita flight.
One small complaint was that the cheese on the burger was shredded cheese and it wasn’t really melted.
Our server was amazing – attentive, bubbly and took extra care with a food allergy at the table.

This is definitely a great place to watch sports. There are plenty of tv’s. Wide selection of beers and nice mixed drinks.
Our server, Hannah, was excellent. The apps were good. The spinach artichoke dip had just a bit too much cheese for me, but it’s still good. The calamari was delicious. The blackened pasta was ok.

I have a severe shellfish allergy and the general manager came over to me and told me my food was running late because there was a miscommunication with my order and they cooked the chicken on the same grill as the shrimp. The general manager came over and had the nicest conversation with me apologizing (which he did not need to bc I appreciate the care they took in remaking my meal!). He was just so nice and caring and I love the transparency of the situation and making sure my food was not near shellfish. Very impressed!

I vote the baby back ribs as the specialty; tender with just enough veggies and perfect sides. My children just couldn’t get enough of it; they ordered the same choices, every time. More sides could be created to give regular diners, somewhat new experience. A little more attention by waiters could also go a long way.

Excellent! Definitely try the Peach Passion Martini!!! It’s like eating a fresh peach…sooo delicious! We ordered the filet medallions with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus, also the blackened salmon sandwich with parmesan tots. We will definitely be back! So delicious, fantastic service, amazing drinks and divine food.

I’m giving this 2 stars only because the service was excellent (truly outstanding) and we do like coming to the Rocky Hill Wood-n-Tap. We were excited about the Happy Hour that starts at 8:30 every day because we get out of work after 7:00. We went once and enjoyed it a lot. The selection of 1/2-priced appetizers was good and the drinks affordable. So, we went again. But the menu drastically changed. The selection was small and the portions were ridiculously tiny for the same prices as before. The humus plate came with none of the usual yummy things, like olives and roasted peppers, just humus and bread. And we had to pay $2 extra just for celery and carrots. They didn’t put any pickles on the stupidly small, two bite-sized triangles of burger that were supposed to be sliders, even though the menu said they were supposed to come with them. We ordered four things off the menu and were so hungry after we finished them that we had to order a burger from the regular menu. The change in the Happy Hour menu is embarrassingly stingy on the restaurant’s part, but expensive for the consumer. We ended up paying $80 just for the two of us. I expected better from this chain that is usually consistently good.

Initially coming in it took a little bit to find a table. They had to go look for one to make sure they had one available and once they sat us down the waiter took a little long to come in. Ask us what we want but after that point everything else went uphill and he was a good server. The food was great. I had the blackened chicken sandwich and my wife had the wings with some type of rice. I’m sorry don’t remember but it was all very good and the waiter actually ended up being excellent
