We went to Solita’s Tacos in downtown Orlando to celebrate my niece’s 21st birthday and from the moment we walked in they made us feel so welcomed and so important. De verdad, the staff treated us with so much care and attention and it really made the night extra special.
The blueberry citrus martini was increíble. Even though they’re known for their margaritas, we decided to try something different and wow they absolutely delivered. The tacos were full of flavor, super filling, and made with so much sabor. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
The atmosphere is perfect for everyone whether you’re coming with a big group to celebrate or just stopping by with a few people for drinks and tacos. The bartender working last weekend was amazing and even shared her secret for making the perfect cosmopolitan. Let me just say she knew exactly what she was doing because that cosmo was perfecto. If you want to know the secret, you’re going to have to stop by yourself

In town for business. Hotel restaurant wasn’t what I was looking for so I checked out Solita. Walking distance, great clean food with a nice presentation. Steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. Music made for a good atmosphere. Lounge or club like music but not overwhelming. Plenty of Tv’s where I sat at the bar. Solita Margarita was good but could have been twice the size for the price. Highly recommend this place as it won’t break the bank and the food is really good.

Went for a Yelp event and I arrived at Solitas early and waited outside as the others started to gather for our newest event. Once we had our first drink of the night, the food began to come out. The tables had a large serving of tasty corn chips ready for the tangy salsa. They started us off with a ceviche which has lovely, fresh flavors of lime atop the white fish, diced avocado pieces, red onions and other mixing. The chicken taquitos came out next with their crunchy exteriors and tender meat, it was good. The spinach salad was healthy and the dressing really popped out in a good way. Both the guacamole and queso were a hit with the chips, the cheese pull was exquisite to see and then the flavors were lovely. The grilled elote corn was the wonderful with the dazzling fresh corn showing off the flavors of the grilling style. The one part which was needing a bit more flavor would be the tacos, specifically the meats used or the sauces… something was needing that extra kick of deliciousness. Neither the chicken nor the steak had that kick of flavors, the pork was better with a touch more saltiness to the meat. For the desserts, the devilish brownie was dense and had a good chocolate base to it but the ‘churro’ balls were a miss. No kick of cinnamon or sugar were really tasted, it was just a fried doughy ball. Our server was the young lady with the red hair clips, I cannot recall her name but she was spectacular in always getting our drinks and clearing the tables so we were able to be ready for the next items.

This is a beautiful place to enjoy before heading to the theater! We had a wonderful dinner; the food was delicious, the atmosphere splendid, and the service was great! I tried the soup, which was both huge and delicious. The chips and salsa were full of flavor.

This restaurant is really nice inside. It reminds me of the loft apartments in NY. The lights are dim and they play what sounds like jazz music. Unfortunately I found me service to be laggy, by the time we got our food mine was cold. The house salsa has a weird taste that I can’t pin.

Wow, this place is severely understaffed. 1 lady at the bar doing like everything, felt super bad for her. People were coming up from their tables to the bar to order drinks because they couldn’t get their waitress.
The nachos were gross and soggy by the time they came out and the chips were very salty.
On a side note the Elote Corn was really good and was only $5 for happy hour. I wouldn’t pay the normal $10 price for it though.

Elvis was our server an being the only table in the restaurant, service was extremely slow and unattended.
The both queso appetizer was cold n very clumpy.
I order my food to go. I paid for a side of beans and was not received with my tacos.
Taste good but won’t be coming back.

we must have visited on the crew’s “bad day”. it started not promising – we waited to be seated by far too long in a not even half full restaurant. Then it got not better – after an internal debate who would take orders we waited 45 min until lunch finally was served. A turn to the good? No – our soups were luke warm and the crispy tortilla strips were soggy beyond recognition as they must have been waiting considerable time before reaching the table. the request to have things corrected was answered in just heat up the soups and not taking this chance to deliver the promised simple but if properly done delicious dish. looking at other reviews our experiance is hard to explain.

Came for dinner before a show at Phillips Center. The place was jammed with reservations so we sat at bar. Bartender was harried. Never brought chips and salsa.
My fish tacos were good, but not warm. Her taco loco was also good.
Drinks were good, but should have asked for salt rim.

I pre-reserved a large area at the bar for a work event – about 30 people. Our servers Ethan and Mya were great! They had everything ready when I arrived early, including chips, sala and waters, and they were very attentive to the guests throughout the event. We did appetizers and drinks. The food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful. The space was perfect for our event – not private but away from the other guests. Many thanks for making our event special.
