Colorful atmosphere, great music, and amazing food! The carnitas plate is to die for. The servings are also huge, I usually get at least a day’s worth of leftovers out of what I order. Free chips and salsa are some of the best in town. I wish they had more agua fresca on tap though, I’d love to be able to order some nice jamaica.

One of my favorite Mexican places around Madison. Service has always been amazing and food never disappoints. A big menu and good vegetarian options. This is the only place I have ever known to give a free refill on horchata! They don’t skimp out on amount of food, in my case shrimp. Salsa is good, food is good, margaritas good, everything is good and that’s why we come back over and over.

Fantastic!!! Couldn’t have had a better experience. No problem getting a table on a Friday night. Staff is great and the food is fire!!! The seafood enchiladas and guacamole were sooo good. It came out on a huge platter and didn’t think that I would be finishing but couldn’t help myself from cleaning my plate.

Oh, yeah! Our new go-to for Mexican food. Great neighborhood location with engaging, friendly service. The Molcajete is huge (and hot)! The chimichangas are fantastic, and the special dinner is enormously delightful! No agua frescas here, but the horchata is supreme. This place is fun, fast, and fresh! Come for your birthday and get an extra surprise!

The chicken tasted either fishy or like dirty dish water. We could not decide. The beef, beans and rice tasted fine. The tortillas and chips were a little stale. Overall the look and feel was a standard mid-west Mexican restaurant. The staff was very nice. The place the clean.

We were sat quickly and assisted quickly. Not a long wait on drinks or the food. The waiter was quick and attentive. Really appreciated it.
Husband ordered a molcajete, lots of food and it was amazing. We asked for a few more of the small tortillas that came with, and we were given them. We were not told that it would cost a little extra.
I, myself, ordered enchiladas. Looked and tasted great.
We both brought home lots of food

I didn’t know what to expect but the food and atmosphere were better than expected. The music was great and lively, the salsa was homemade, and the guacamole was outstanding! Also, get the horchata here…you won’t be disappointed. Oh and the food is great!

I have been here over a dozen times and have not been disappointed yet. My favorite dish is the fish tacos with a regular margarita on the rocks. Highly recommend if your looking for great Mexican food.
