Detailed opinion: The welcome lobby is fine with a luxurious couch, a huge TV, and a great chandelier. The greeting experience and the walk to the table was impressive. The ambience filled with fine things like black-painted glasses, spoons and forks which the paint was chipping off.
The food did NOT taste like it was from a FINE DINE-IN. If anything it was an “alright” dine-in. I did not see any gourmet or premium items on the menu. I beleive that painting walls and cutlery with a matte or glossy black with a red velvet accent and setting warm white ambient light doesn’t make a restaurant fine dine-in. The scope is improvement is great here.
My favorite item here that I had was Veg Manchuria as an appetizer. Avakai Veg Biryani tasted good but I felt I could have customised it more by asking for lesser spice level and lower oil content. My friends ordered a bunch of food on a different table. They were not happy at all and they were not able to complete their food because it was not palatable. The desserts were not good. I ordered a sizzling brownie with ice cream, the first bite was so bitter (burnt brownie) that I had to cover the rest of the brownie with chocolate sauce to mask the bitterness. The cooking staff should be more attentive towards these minute stuff.
Also, as a simple suggestion to the readers – confirm before ordering desserts whether the restaurant cooks them in their kitchen or they just serve the boxed frozen stuff.
What surprised me is that I’ve heard from multiple friends that the food here is really good, which makes me think the taste might be inconsistent. I also noticed that the serving plates and bowls seem to change often, and the presentation and flavor didn’t feel consistent across dishes.
I’m willing to give it one more visit to see if my experience is better next time, because based on what I’ve heard, this place should be doing better than what I experienced
We were a party of four visiting this restaurant last night. I’ve been here quite a few times, mainly because of their consistent taste and the warm, welcoming staff.
Food & Drinks
We ordered the Thotakura Liver Fry—and it was delicious, We then ordered Pachimirchi Kodi Pulao and Gutti Vankaya Biryani. While the Kodi Pulao was flavorful, the Gutti Vankaya Biryani didn’t meet the mark. Thankfully, Shivani promptly replaced it with Paneer Biryani, which was much better. For dessert, we tried the Paan Sweet. It was decent—something you can try once, but not a must-have.
Service & Ambience
Shivani really stood out. She was sweet, kind, and knew menu well. Her attentiveness and prompt action when we raised concerns made our dining experience smoother. The overall ambience, as always, felt inviting and comfortable.
Suggestions
Sync the music and TV visuals for a smoother dining vibe. The Guttevangaya Biryani needs refinement, as it lacked the expected flavor punch. Desserts could also be elevated to match the restaurant’s standard.
Final Verdict
Another wonderful visit to Mama Bros—delicious food, good service, and a comfortable setting.
If you cannot fulfill an order correctly, you should not list the item for sale. Customers pay for a specific product, not a random substitute. Sending the wrong item once may be an error. Sending it three times shows negligence.
I do not recommend buying from this place. Check your order carefully because you may not receive what you paid for.
The chicken biryani and chicken pilau were both generous in portion and full of flavor — you can really tell care goes into the food here. We also enjoyed mango lassi cocktails, Indian beer, and Coronas. The mango lassi cocktails were a standout — I had four and every single one was smooth, refreshing, and absolutely delicious.
Rahul and Priya were wonderful servers — attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere made this a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend Mama Bro’s if you’re looking for flavorful Indian cuisine and great drinks. I’ll definitely be back
The cauliflower, curry, rice, and biryani were perfectly spiced, fresh, and full of rich, memorable flavor. The lunch also comes with sambar, yogurt, and a dessert. The dessert was so delicious that I ordered an extra one to take home.
I highly recommend Mama Bros.
It was so good!! Came out so fast and all the foods tastes so nice. I can totally agree that they call themselves fine dining. They even do the refills for all food in the platter. And thanks to Siri the server, all experience was very perfect. If you’re seeking for something authentic but don’t want the risk? This is the place
The warm ambience and excellent service, especially Vasavi’s kind hospitality made it even better.
Ended on a high note with delicious Paan and Apricot Delight. Highly recommend!
