We had a small hiccup with our large family feast order that may have been a little over loved with warmth. When I came back to see if it could be fixed, Frank handled everything with absolute care. He was incredibly kind, truly understands what great service and genuine hospitality look like, and is exactly the kind of person who makes you want to return. Five stars to Frank for turning a little oops into great experience.

Our server, Trina, did an excellent job. She was personable and on top of every need. The ribs and smoked chicken were great however, the pulled pork and mac and cheese didn’t meet expectations. Overall a great experience.

Server was friendly and informative, as this was my first visit. The sliced brisket, smoked turkey, chicken and baked beans were excellent!! I happened to meet Tina, the general manager and I complimented how clean her restaurant was and how excellent the food tasted. She was very appreciative and kind. I will definitely be bringing my entire family back to enjoy some excellent barbecue and great service! Thank you Tina for providing a great atmosphere and some delicious food!!

It’s so hard to find good bbq. We hadn’t been to Sonny’s in quite a while, so we gave it another try. We went inside and ordered to go. We got the pulled pork which was pretty good. I asked for lean meat. It wasn’t on the receipt, but they still did pretty good there. The tall blonde who took our order didn’t know though, that there is a dinner portion with 2 sides that you can just add a bun to make a sandwich. I also ordered fries with NO salt..as I always do because I don’t like or need any extra salt. There was EXTRA salt on there I believe. Yuck! I called back to talk to management only to be put on hold and then get a recording that all staff is BUSY. I was trying to keep from posting this review…but here it is.

I picked up some pulled pork from this amazing place today. My pork was tender and moist. My pickup was prompt and the staff was very helpful and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I will definitely be back and will spread the word about my great experience. Tina definitely has this place in tip top shape. Thank you Tina for my amazing bbq for dinner tonight.

This is my favorite place for baby back ribs and the pick 4 combo. Bbq egg rolls are terrific. It’s worth an extra 50 cents for the side salad and you get a lot more than what the coleslaw gives. I go here one or two times a week for years. Excellent quality every time. Good size portions. Friendly service.

The ladies at the front counter were super kind, prompt and helpful with getting our orders in!
We each got a Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs with their original BBQ sauce. We got Mac ‘N’ Cheese and Fries as our sides and each order came with toast. My fiancé also got an order of their chicken.
The ribs were super saucy and the mac ‘n’ cheese was luscious. Everything was delicious and cooked to piping-hot-perfection! It was also a generous portion of food.
Overall delicious Kentucky BBQ and I would gladly come back again!

I recently ordered food for a big church event. David went beyond the call of duty to take care of our needs. The food was ready on time and warm and fresh. I got so many compliments. They also included drinks, ice and paper products! All of this for an amazing price !!! I highly recommend for catering events !!!
