This place needs to be renamed to Greedy Bee as these prices are absolutely insane! They should be ashamed of themselves for charging this much for this caliber of food. Wife got the Western egg white omelet for 15 dollars….. but wait there’s more….. do you want cheese on that? $$1.35 more for slice of American cheese. Wife wanted feta, which costs $2.05 plus even though you don’t get both cheeses you will be charged for them! Omelet that ended up being 20 bucks was the absolute tiniest omelet I’ve ever seen! Again they should be very ashamed of themselves for even serving this to a customer. Wife liked grits, but not sure what black chunks in it were. Cheese again… another 1.35. I am appalled that at these prices, then add more for cheese. Isn’t that what an omelet is…. eggs and cheese! I got chorizo omelet which was ok, but not worth the 16 dollar price tag… plus 1.35 for cheese of course! Wierd egg shell like hard crunchies towards the end was very bothersome. Mom liked her regular western omelet which was 15 dollars plus 1.35 for cheese. Oh and of course 3 percent charge for credit card. Thanks greedy bee! Ihop, Parkside cafe, dennys and Kristinas cafe are close to here and far better and much cheaper! Western omelet at Kristinas is $9.95 vs. $15.05 here and BIGGER and BETTER! Not too mention a much nicer establishment. So let’s not blame this pricing on inflation! Pure greed!

Honestly, the prices are crazy. $17 for an omelet, $4.50 for a soda? The place is outdated and dirty, service was great. My grits came out cold, cheese ($1.35 to add) waodnt even melt. Won’t come back again, prices have gone up and food has gone down. The toast was stale. We use to love this place.

Today I ate lunch with my friend at this restaurant. I had a gyro with fries and slaw and my friend had a buffalo chicken wrap with fries and slaw. The other part of our lunch was served with a cup of vegetable soup. I just think that is so awesome that a cup a soup is free with ALL sand. Karen our server was amazing also. She was very friendly, funny and didnt miss any detail. Drinks were always filled, brought boxes and served all the food warm and promptly. Checked on us and made us feel so welcome. I’ll be back this weekend.

What can I say. We’ve been trying new places for breakfast. This has been here a while and we’ve never been. So we stopped. After 10 minutes of looking at the disgusting prices on the menu, we left. Highest by far in any place we’ve gone. There’s no way I’m paying almost $5 for a soda or 17-18 for an omelet. Greedy owners. Yes prices have gone up but this place has taken it to a whole new level. 2 minutes away is Lil Bit Kuntry. Another whole in the wall private family owned business with great food and prices cheaper by at least ½ of this place. Redo your menus and bring your prices down to your competition. Crazy how Lil bit hungry or Parkside café all within minutes from here can be slammed busy all the time and this place has a few tables. You might make more money lowering prices if you get customers to be repeat customers. As far as if I’ll ever go back, I doubt it. DO BETTER!!!

Super friendly staff that were attentive and kept our drinks topped off. The food was good but the reason for 4 stars is that it is very pricey. 2 eggs, bacon, toast and coffee was $15 and change. Nothing fancy or any special orders.
I would only go back because of the outstanding service.

I went in for breakfast but ended up ordering the meatloaf special for $9.95. For the price, it was ok. The part that got me was the price of a soda; $4.50!! The price of my drink was almost half the cost of my meal. My server was excellent and the place is cute, but I can’t afford to pay that much for a soda. Just ridiculous! I won’t be back because of this. It’s a shame. I guess it can be be said that the owners are greedy. I have never paid that much for a soda, even in upscale restaurants. Sorry, but you scared me away.

Been here several times now. I can say every meal I’ve had here has been enjoyable The service has been fast and excellent. Only thing I don’t recommend is the chopped sirloin. I will definitely be back here to eat. I do wish they had bicycle friendly parking

First time at this dining establishment even though it’s 5 mins from my home. The name fits it perfectly because WOW was it busy today! The entire wait staff was so friendly and my waitress whom took my to go order was amazing. Think Susan was her name. She answered my questions and was very patient. Plus: I was happy to see gloves being used when buttering bread etc. Now about the food. Yes it was piping hot and fresh! However flavor was kind of a disappointment. I understand places have to be careful with salt and pepper. But goodness there wasn’t a dash of seasoning on the grits, potatoes or chicken. Very bland tasting even with the chicken being marinated. Thankfully the chicken was juicy at least so taking a salt shaker to it was not a big issue. I guess that’s how folks like their food though because like I said this place was busyyyyyy!!! I think the prices are competitive for this type of mom and pop shop. I mean the chicken sandwich alone no sides was $9. Oh and service was fast! Don’t know how they pull off getting hot food so speedy out with 20 tickets in the window!
