At our Cleveland, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Surprisingly good. We hadn’t been to a Captain D’s in decades and this was our second choice for dinner that night. (We originally stopped at the Taco Bell down the street because we were in a hurry, but they weren’t adequately staffed.) We were promptly greeted by a very sweet young lady who took our order. The food came out very quickly, and was exactly as ordered. The fried whiting had a little heavier breading than I like, but it was still really good. We were out the door and back in the road in no time! Very glad we stopped here. I’ll be checking out Captain D’s more frequently thanks to this location. Good job!

Love the food here and the people! The food is always fresh delicious and a great price. We eat here at least once a week. The only fault I find is there is no awning over the drive-through speaker. I have contacted the owner asking that he correct that and so far it’s still not done. So when it’s raining, you really don’t want to order here.

Ordered the Fish and fries meal. That was tge funniest tasting fish I haver ever eaten it was not flakes like the usual Captain D’s quality in fact it tasted like chicken instead of fish. The other part of my order was not even what I ordered. Servers were great however the prep crew was slacking food not worth the price I paid.
