Let me start off by saying I don’t leave reviews often but I had to come here and say that everything about our experience was amazing! My server Ty C was amazing! I love somebody who does ther job good!!! Shout out to Sammy for making green teas that actually taste good! And shout out to the kitchen for our food! Traditional wings here are best in Rockford and the Mac n cheese was enough for my dinner tonight and tomorrow! Thank you for such an amazing experience we will definitely be back!!

Food definitely step up from the first time I went there years ago. And the mac n cheese variety is super yummy!! Lots of chicken options, too. Fully stocked bar with beer on tap including Guinness.
Went in about lunch time on a Saturday. The place was not very busy, but the service was slow and the bartender seemed annoyed when asked to change the TV station (it had been frozen the entire time we were there until we asked her to change it).
The prices were a bit shocking on the beer. $8 for a 20oz. Served in plastic cups. The food prices were not horrible for the mac n cheese but the southwest egg rolls were $13 for 3. Price of going to a bar in the city.
4 beers, 2 appetizers, 1 entree was $82. Plus tip and tax.

I absolutely *love* District Bar and Grill in downtown Rockford, IL! From the amazing food to the awesome atmosphere, this place has it all.
The **fried ravioli** is an absolute must-try—crispy on the outside, perfectly cheesy on the inside, and served with a delicious marinara sauce. Paired with an ice-cold **Corona**, it was the perfect combo! The menu has so many great options, but this appetizer stole the show for me.
What really sets District apart is the **rock and roll vibe**. The **”Wall of Fame”** in the back is incredible—covered with signed guitars and photos from diverse bands that have played here. It’s such a cool touch that adds personality and history to the place. You can tell this spot has real love for music and good times.
The service was friendly, the drinks were cold, and the energy was just right—whether you’re stopping by for happy hour, dinner, or late-night fun. **Highly recommend** District Bar and Grill for great food, great drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was hot and fresh. We tried the Italian Beef Rolls and they didn’t disappoint. The chicken patty on the sandwich was very big. The burger was cooked perfect.

We stopped in before an event, and even though the place was packed — easily 100+ people — the service itself was friendly and fast. In fact, too fast. We ordered specialty burgers and fries, and our food hit the table in about five minutes. After one bite, the reason was obvious: both the fries and the burger were cold.
I don’t rate restaurants based on price anymore because everything is expensive in today’s inflationary world. What I do rate is execution, and this was disappointing. With that many people in the building, there’s no way fresh, made-to-order food should arrive that quickly and be cold. That only happens when plates are prepped ahead, sitting in a window, or being rushed without any quality check.

Went prior to a show at Coronado, everything we wanted was not available it seemed. Sorry no fried green beans, no sweet-potato fries. Server said Sorry salted Carmel brownie hasn’t been available for four months now that I’ve worked here. Was also disappointed that a “bar” and grill didn’t even have a drink menu. Sorry but it was a bust for our group of four. Our food was good though after some adjustments due to things not being available. We do suggest the Mac n cheese

Why is the karaoke so convoluted?
Liking a fb page for traffic is pretty gross.
You can only put one song in at a time (again, messaging on Facebook…..) hoping the KJ isn’t behind the bar drinking with the also inattentive bartenders

Had a blast for date night at The District! We had mozzarella stucks, the chicken pesto panini, and the nacho mac and cheese. All of it was delicious. Service was a bit delayed at times, but nothing too bad. Look forward to coming again to try some other menu items.

The drinks were great, and the atmosphere was lively but still comfortable enough to chat with friends. The staff was friendly and quick with service, which made the night even better. Definitely one of my new favorite spots for a casual night out or weekend hangout!

First off they were out of just about everything. Either they didn’t get a food shipment or they just don’t care. The food was edible but not filling. Portion to price ratio, especially for a bar & grill was not on par with others.
Second our waitress had a huge attitude and didn’t seem to care if we were taken care of or not. They were not busy but something as simple as a lemon with water was forgotten when asked for multiple times.
