This place is so stinking cute! I was craving a coffee and I was so happy I chose this place. I went closer to closing times so they didn’t have a lot of stuff, but I was able to get a couple of cupcakes which were delicious couple of cookies which were scrumptious and a cappuccino. The staff was also really nice and helpful. They also have a cute little market, so I grabbed a few things to give friends. I’m really happy that I stopped by here. PS – we need something like this in Tulsa!!

Very nice staff, some that take orders do not speak much English and have issues getting drinks correct. Lately the service inside has been slow. Wife waited 20 minutes inside for 1 latte. Ended up getting about 10 of the 16oz. Hopefully service turns around, this place used to be spot on.

If I lived in the area and wanted a quick bite or a latte, then I would definitely be a semi regular. But it’s not a place I would go out of my way for, especially once the Chiefs move to Kansas because the prices were high enough for the good food, but the taxes that’ll be added on soon will make it unaffordable.
I had the smoked salmon toast. The salmon itself was quite good but the capers were incredibly salty, I had to scrape them off.
The staff was super friendly, but the seating area was quite cold, everyone was having to wear their coats.

McClain’s has quickly become my breakfast spot in the way to work. My favorite is the Market Latte and I love trying something different each time. I’ll even add on a dozen pastries at times to pick up for my team at work. They are always a hit. The cup cookies have been a favorite since I was a little girl and I have fond memories of our birthday cakes from McClains every year.

I have dined at McLain’s OP location several times and recently hosted an evening reception there. McLains OP was a wonderful venue for our retirement celebration, very warm and cozy atmosphere. The food was exceptional as always and overall cost was incredibly reasonable since they let you bring in outside beverages for a small fee. Mini cheesecakes and truffles were a huge hit. I would highly recommend for an intimate holiday party, baby shower, bridal shower or birthday party!

Food good. Had soup, half sandwich & scone w/ coffee for lunch. Popular w/ locals. In town for graduation wknd 2nd Saturday in December. Lacking sufficient wait staff to manage a Saturday lunch rush, esp one in December w/ everyone out shopping. Only 1 barrista, who was stressed out and swamped w/ coffee orders. Nice vibe ✨️ & food. Dining area way too crowded/tables too close together for comfort and noise so loud it was tough to hear our convo. Such heavy drive-thru service and take-out/pick-ups during lunch rush that dine-in customers tool a back seat priority wise for the 1-2 staff that were there to manage dining area. Parking was an issue. Evidently been an issue w/ neighboring bc signage posted warning McLain’s customers not to park there, but the walk wasn’t too bad. Clearly, this business has out-grown it’s current space and even traffic flow for dine-in vs drive-thru and pick-up customers was an obvious traffic jam issue affecting neighboring businesses in same shopping/lease space. Room to improve on several fronts, but would try it again bc liked the market cafe vibe & casual, comfort food and bakery items.

Love this place! Super cute and mellow atmosphere even though it was pretty busy. Super friendly service and our food and coffee both tasted great!

Cinnamon rolls are the best thing ever made in house!
Original McClain’s is in a hundred years old building in Waldo Area. It’s the best McClain’s.
The original founder sold out and apparently franchised other locations. Some reason the franchise atmosphere is decorated in an old gas station and / or garage.
Who wants to go to lunch in a garage? Apparently a bunch of people! It’s really loud in the “garage “. Great for people with babies or kids. You won’t hear any crying.
Breakfast is over priced and tastes-less. I tried the “Girls breakfast” , said had a little bit of everything. Avocado toast had some kind of dry mix with a few chunks of avocado toast. Toast was good. Sausage mediocre at best.
The cakes and one other cookie is excellent , white sugar cookies with fondant icing.

Seriously, THE BEST breakfast food and bakery. The lunch is also delicious, but breakfast takes the cake. We stumbled upon this bakery 4 years ago while visiting the area. We now make it a point to go back at least once a year to eat breakfast (it’s a 3.5 hour drive). We also stop most times when we drive through the area to see family and grab whatever pastries are left. But the selections are limited after 12. I once tried to convince the owner to branch out to Nebraska

Adorable place with such great food and drinks.
The ambiance of this spot is really awesome. I loved the set up and the lay out and the people there were all really nice.
I had some breakfast potatoes and lunch there too and it all tasted great and was really good quality. There are vegan options as well as vegetarian options and gluten friendly ones too.
I highly highly recommend
