I will never eat here again. The service was horrible. Our chef was horrible. Food was mediocre. I have never seen so many mushrooms in my life.

To start off we had reservations at 2:00. We did not start getting food until 3:00. It took 30 minutes just to get drinks. While we were waiting to get our table we could not have a drink because there was no bartender.

There was food all over the floor and on the chair they wanted me to sit in.

The waitress was not familiar with the menu so some of the orders were wrong. The chef that we had was wearing two masks so when he was asking us what we ordered we could not understand a word he was saying and we kept having to ask him to repeat what he was saying.

When you go to a teppanyaki restaurant you have an expectation. You expect a show. You expect fun. You expect the volcano. You expect some fireworks. Maybe some flying eggs We got nothing. The chef just cooked our food and slapped it on our plates.

It took so long we wanted another drink. We asked the chef, because there was no waitress anywhere to be seen, and he rudely said through his mask that it was not his job to get our drinks. We were not asking him to get us a drink. We wanted him to get the waitress. He said we would have to wait because she was on a smoke break.

When I went to pay, the cashier was out waitress, I told her that this was the worse service I have ever had and the chef was horrible. I also told her that none of us would ever be back. She then told me that the chef we had was the head chef. What a joke.

I will never eat there again. Thumbs down.

The atmosphere and staff were amazing. The preparation and interaction with the chef is a fun experience. Food overall was 4 stars but the ginger steak gets a 5. There is a well stocked bar that I didn’t get a photo of. Restaurant is fairly large and fits quite a bit of seating for family style dining.

Went on Valentines Day, we got our drinks fairly fast. Salad was not fresh. After taking orders, it took 30 min at least for them to come out to start to cook. Okay fine but no special heart or anything from cook. Saw waitress once while she brought someone a sushi roll which my date asked for a drink. She brought over 15 min later and nobody at table was asked if they wanted refill until she was giving us boxes to go/bill. NOT TO MENTION, I let her know before hand i needed sushi roll to go and when I reminded her she got stuck and ended up telling me the sushi bar closed at 230 and couldn’t make. Pissed off, I held my tongue and ordered from different restaurant for my kids. So unprepared (busy I get) but not a good waitress nor paid attention to her notes. Don’t waste time going here. Also front was rude to my date when paying. No good customer service.

They have great lunch specials. The prices are great for what you get. Our waitress was attentive. The chef was kind. The wait wasn’t long. The sushi roll was bland for me. The hot sauce was too sweet. The actual food was great and didn’t take too long to cook.

You will enjoy Edo-Ya. The teppanyaki is good, and the chefs put on a good show. I recommend the New York steak. The service was really good here, and the atmosphere is perfect for a Japanese restaurant.

Despite the rumors of this restaurant I’d say they are false. My family loves doing dine in. The food & sushi rolls are always on point. The waiters are always super friendly and attentive to our needs. I’d highly recommend.

I came in because of the high ratings and then realized their specialty is teppanyaki, which I’m not particularly interested in. I ordered ramen, sashimi, pork cutlet rice, and beef rice. The taste might cater more to local preferences—it doesn’t feel like authentic Japanese cuisine, and the flavors are a bit unusual.

Food was delicious. There was no wait time, but we went during lunch hours, so it may be different during dinner. The atmosphere is so beautiful. If you’re celebrating a birthday, don’t go during lunch hours because they will not sing happy birthday. However, they will offer ice-cream to the birthday person.

Food was good tonight my fiancee, her
4 kids and I went to celebrate my girls birthday the big 49 .
Everything was good but it seems the portions were smaller then normal and the price increased.
I’m not sure why but everytime I eat here I get the sprints to the restroom
Time. It’s happened the 4 last times I ate here I’m not sure why, has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
