I ordered 2 filet o fish sandwiches with no cheese and instead I received them WITH cheese and NO tartar sauce. The person that took my order kept on asking me to wait a minute (3 different times) in between me placing the order. Super annoying.

I’ve been trying for three days to call this restaurant so i can inquire about purchasing a birthday party package. All different times of the day just to make sure im not calling when they are busy. Cannot get through to them at all. Never had this issue with any other mcdonalds before in my life. Why even have a phone.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this McDonald’s, thanks to the morning drive-thru lady. I sat at the ordering speaker for an absurd amount of time with complete silence. I kept saying “hello” just to see if anyone was there, and when she finally responded, she yelled at me because she was annoyed. Once I reached the window I asked for her name she told me it was Nadia, but of course she gave me the wrong name her actual name is Vhadra. It’s not the first time she’s been rude to me.

The attitude didn’t improve from there—rude, impatient, and clearly uninterested in doing her job. To make matters worse, there’s a sign at the window with the manager’s name and phone number asking customers to call about their experience. I did exactly that, left a detailed voicemail, and never received a call back.

Between the hostile drive-thru service and management completely ignoring a customer complaint, it’s clear this location doesn’t care about basic customer service or accountability. I won’t be back.

Your management really needs to take a look at the way your staff treats people standing up here waiting on orders. Like they are invisible. That goes for mobile orders, door dash, uber eats etc…. they leave you standing there like an idiot while they do their very best to ignore you. Look at your cameras, especially at night. I just had to get nasty with an employee who ignored me 3 times when I tried to politely get her attention.
You might think that delivery drivers don’t matter since it’s not our money being spent…. but it’s gonna suck for you if people stop taking your orders and delivering them. I almost walked out and left this persons food on the counter. I will be reporting this to DoorDash. Enough people do that and you’ll lose your delivery all together.

Got a decaf coffee in drive thru..was ice cold told me go park they’ll make a new hot cup
Employee handed me cup of coffee as I was in my car..when I switched it to my right hand to put in cup holder the lid came off and coffee came out as I was putting my cup down towards holder..BURNED MY KNEE.. MONTHS LATER THEY ARE NOT TAKING ANY RESPONSIBILITY AND SAY CUP WAS IN MY POSSESSION!! MY KNEE TOOK WEEKS TO HEAL FROM 2ND DEGREE BURNS
I DIDNT EVEN GET A GIFT CARD ..NOTHING..NOT THAT I GO THERE ANYMORE ANYWAYS

This used to be (but isn’t anymore) a really nice place to spend time with kids and have a fun lunch or breakfast. Now it’s awful! I don’t recommend it. They don’t turn on the heat so people just buy things and leave. The kids can’t always use the play area because it’s freezing cold there. They do this so the kids don’t spend too much time there either. This place is truly horrible in winter. I don’t recommend it.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time. I asked for extra sauce on my sandwich and the person on the drive thru asked “no sauce” so I specified “extra sauce” however whoever was on the sandwich station couldn’t be bothered to check for an updated ticket and gave me no sauce. The second time there, nobody answered the second drive through speaker, even after taking seven cars at the first one. I pulled up to the first window where the worker took my order and still charged my card for somebody else’s order. She didn’t want to call a supervisor over so she just gave me the difference in cash. Then I got to work, and what do you know? No sauce, even though I had asked for extra agin.

For the foot traffic here, I’m very impressed with the efforts of all of the personnel! It is not easy to keep this place clean. It is not easy to manage all of the traffic. Just in my two hours here. (Kids play area) I witnessed three families of 8 people each. Thats crazy. Anyway, my son had a good time at the play area.

We’ve been visiting the McDonald’s in Hamden quite regularly, usually after my daughter’s swimming classes in the same plaza. The food is generally good, and we’ve never had issues with our orders, which is why I’m giving it two stars.

However, we’ve faced several concerning issues. There have been repeated instances of homeless individuals begging for money both outside and inside the restaurant. A couple of weeks ago, we had a very troubling incident where a man was acting inappropriately and staring at children at the playscape, which led us to call the police.

Yesterday, we also encountered discomfort with a homeless person inside, wearing a ski mask and hat, who stared at us during our meal and intimidated our daughter while she played. This made us feel unsafe and concerned for our family’s well-being.

Additionally, the playscape area is often uncomfortably cold, sometimes around 45°F, which makes it difficult for kids to enjoy their time.

We strongly recommend that management address these safety concerns and improve the heating in the playscape area. We hope the establishment takes these matters seriously for the safety and comfort of all guests.

I recently visited this location and was assisted by an associate named Barbie, who was quite rude. Despite my attempt to cancel an incorrectly placed mobile order, she repeatedly told me to leave her lane and move forward, even though the car in front of me had already moved. She was so rude when I tried placing my order I ended up just leaving. Her unprofessional behavior was shocking, as I am a frequent customer and have never experienced such treatment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. She needs to be retrained on how to kindly speak to people- from the looks of the associates around her- she seems just as rude to them. She does not take her job seriously and it’s sad- poor example of a worker- McDonald’s please do better- she needs to really be retrained.
