I woke up early yesterday and so I had catfish on the brain and I had seen it on their menu so I decided to wait till they open to get some. They opened up at 11:00 I was the first one in line, I got one piece catfish with shrimp mashed potatoes and green beans. It was the only thing I ate yesterday because I was off work and so I was chilling at the house. At some point early this morning I became violently ill constantly throwing up my stomach in the most pain that I felt in a very long time. I had to call off of work for today and tomorrow. I haven’t cried praying and thrown up to the point to where I’m throwing up bile and so long. I definitely caught food poisoning. I have spent hours in the bathtub my body feels wrecked. I am scared to even eat anything I can’t hold down water. Not only did I get terribly sick from eating at this place I have now taking a financial loss as well on top of the money I spent. They did not give me catfish. Whatever it was the batter just slid right off of it and it was slimy and gross. But everything else tasted okay. I do bear some responsibility because they say you are never supposed to go to a restaurant before the lunch rush because everything that you’re eating is from last night. I still feel terrible as I am posting this driving on my way to get some soup to coat my stomach.

This lil local spot was recommended to me a couple of years ago by one of my church members. The pandemic then happened and I never made it until TODAY! Never forgot he told me to check this spot out. I was not disappointed!! The food was fresh and HOTTT!! Seasoned just the way I like it!! Very good chicken and fish!

We are from Alabama so we wasn’t sure what food places to try. We tried a restaurant here the day before and it was horrible, we spent over $100…so we was very nervous. I had the #8 (porkchops and fries) and my friend had the #9 (2p dark meat n 2 Tenders with fries). Baby, it was so good. I loved the fact that they cooked the food when we ordered it. Our meals were only were only $9…and I had 2 nice size porkchops. The meals came with fries, roll and a drink….definitely worth it. I also had gizzards. Yup, bussing. We were trying to figure out why they didn’t have sauces like honey mustard, ranch or something like that, BECAUSE IT DIDNT NEED IT. My friend and I smashed our food. If we ever come back, this will be our first stop.

The place was empty. It’s rather to large for the type of food serving, orbit might just be the area. I ordered a 5 piece dark for 6.99. the price was fair, right along with everyone else, yet the quality wasn’t what I expected. There was no flavor in the chicken. Skin was really crispy, too much for my liking. I will say that the place has a lot of options of foods. Today might’ve just been one of those days, so this experience will not deter me from returning. There are other entrees for me to check out.
