If you’re passing through Kanab, Iron Horse Restaurant is an absolute must. The Smokehouse Chips were incredible, the pomegranate sangria was refreshing, and the top sirloin was cooked perfectly.
Right in the heart of town with a fun, casual cowboy vibe, this spot offers indoor and outdoor dining, is family- and pet-friendly, and has an awesome outdoor area with games, photo ops, and even a scavenger hunt with a prize—perfect for stretching your legs on a long drive.
Great food, great drinks, and a memorable stop on any Utah road trip. We’ll definitely be back!

This was such a great find when visiting the Kanab area! We started with chili cheese fries, which were some of the best! The smashburger special with habanero bacon jam was amazing and the burger was huge. We also got the pulled pork dinner with cowboy beans and mac and cheese, which was also delicious with the Carolina BBQ sauce. The menu had lots of great sounding options and would definitely recommend for a good dinner!

We were two couples and everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The food was really amazing! The waitress was incredibly kind and friendly, which made the experience even better. We were truly delighted and had a wonderful time at this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Incredible restaurant, and the food quality is amazing, even though the prices are a bit high. We had to wait around an hour to get a table, but it was worth it. However, we wanted to order brisket, and 25 minutes after ordering, the bartender told us that steaks are not available at night. Then, we waited another hour for our plates, and they came very late and not at the same time. The bartenders were a bit rude and didn’t apologize for it.
Still, I would recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy some good meat.

We picked this place because its across the street from the hotel we stayed in.
Nice place, cowboy themed restaurant with a real log fire as you enter.
Good selection of food, ranging from steak, bbq, burgers, chicken and salmon.
We had the 8oz steak with 2 sides, we ordered it medium rare but it came out a little too rare and we had to send it back for a refresher. It came back out perfect.
We also had the Sinatra burger, which had an onion ring and brisket on top and that was fire………not overly priced. Good quality food amd good sized portions.

Great food! Came in late and the food was still great. Ordered brisket and they were out. That’s cool so changed my order to ribs. Most places they are dried out. As late as we came in. They were still moist and had excellent flavor. Got some BBQ beans and they were also great. Live singer had an amazing voice. Would definitely come back again.

Gave this place a try for dinner. The staff were very friendly and fun. I arrived before dinner time and there was no wait to sit. They have a draft root beer that was incredible to me. I had a half rack of ribs with mac and cheese and fries. The ribs were good, very tender, fall off the bone. The mac and cheese was ok, a little bland but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix. The fries were really good, crispy and just the right amount of seasoning. It’s a neat restaurant and I look forward to returning as they have a lot of items on the menu that interest me.

This place was so much fun, and their food was fantastic! Plus much less expensive than I assumed. I had the salmon meal, and it was delicious! The salmon came out perfectly cooked, with the right amount of seasoning, on the side of green beans or cooked and then start on the grill. They were good The atmosphere is
great, very old western days! The outdoors is set up to look like an actual old western town. If I ever find myself down in Kanab again, I will definitely be eating at this place and shopping in there gift shops.

Great western themed restaurant and fun for kids with many activities like beanbag throwing. Also offers many photo opportunities. Brisket tasted really good although a bit dry. Hamburgers with bacon were really tasty and medium cooked. Covered terrace is really cozy to sit outside.
