When I came by Bill’s Bar & Burger, it was later in the evening when they had apparently ended the food service already….so for this visit at least, I’ll only be able to review the ‘bar’ part of Bill’s Bar & Burger.
The service itself was very friendly from both the hostess and the bartenders – the main issue I had with it was how difficult it was to actually get their attention.
I waited several minutes at one end of the bar and eventually went over to another part of it and waited a few more minutes before finally getting the attention of a bartender so that I could order myself a pint of an ale.
It’s not like there weren’t several bartenders going back and forth behind the bar the whole time either – which is why that was a little frustrating to deal with.
Nevertheless, the vibes inside were great.
It had a warm, cozy feel with the lighting and decor, lively with some people enjoying drinks on the Friday night I was there, and my winter ale was very enjoyable & tasty!
Bill’s Bar & Burger looks like a great dining spot for hanging out in Pittsburgh – I’d love to return on a future visit to the area and give one of their burgers a try.
That way, I can update this review with my ‘burger’ part of the experience!

We came in, they sat us at a table … No one came to ask us even for water for 15 min
Multiple tables around us were being served. We overheard the manager or presume manager asking about us … He, noticing the mistake was very nice and offered a free appetizer which was nice
After that, when it came to follow up – he did check on us however his wait staff never did.
We asked for water and the server looked annoyed, also nover came back.
We then waited 15 min for anyone to just acknowledge us to check out.
Super annoying since the food was good and we would have stayed for more beers.
Hard pass since there are so many good places in the area.

This spot in Pittsburgh is an absolute gem! I had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at Bills Bar and Burgers.
I ordered the Fat Cat Burger, and let me tell you, it was both delicious and truly unique! What makes it so special is that it’s served on an English muffin, which completely elevates the burger experience. The burger itself was perfectly cooked and topped with a beautifully runny egg and all the classic burger accompaniments. Every bite was phenomenal!
The restaurant itself has a nice, lively feel—it’s the perfect atmosphere for a fun night out. They have a full bar and plenty of televisions playing games like football, making it a great spot to catch a match while enjoying your meal.
Beyond the food and atmosphere, the service was outstanding. My server, Courtney, was an absolute delight! She was incredibly efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her excellent service truly capped off a fantastic meal.
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. I highly recommend that everyone (or anyone!) come out to Bills Bar and Burgers for a great time and truly delicious food! You won’t regret it.

Bill’s is a great little bar and grill in a hotel. We didn’t realize that, but walked in with no problems. There was a wait to be seated. However, after sitting at the bar for drinks, the bartender asked if we just wanted to eat at the bar. Cool dude and vibe!

Work colleagues wanted a burger for a Friday lunch. Found this place on Google Maps, easy walk, located inside the Westin near the convention center.
Staff super friendly, sat at yhe bar and very nice atmosphere, food came out quick and all agreed very good burgers and sides. Large selection of beers and they make shakes too.
If uou want gourmet burgers and shakes, and are downtown try this place. They also have happy hour Mon-Thu.

We actually came here three times during our visit to Pittsburgh for the anime convention teeko. Every single visit, we had a great time with good food and drinks. The vibe with the live singing made it even better every night. Marcus and fellow bartenders were all amazing and knew what we wanted every visit, lol. We will for sure be coming back here next year! We were visiting Pittsburgh from out of town with our buddies and stopped into Bill’s Bar & Burger downtown, and I’m so glad we did mainly because of our waitress, Sara. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of, even though the place was busy.
Sara was friendly, patient, and great with us, making sure everyone’s order was right and checking in at just the right times. She gave us helpful recommendations and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable, which really stood out after a long day of traveling.

Great location in the heart of town, with equally great food especially their burgers. Our meals were delivered quickly, hot, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the NEW! Mmmmmelt, it was really good. Our server Connor could not have been better, he was friendly, polite and offered many menu suggestions. Thank you Connor!
