It was 1991 when the Qattom family decided to expand their convenient store and gas operation outside of Harris County and move to Wharton County, more specific the city of Wharton. Coming from a big town environment to a small community was different for the Qattom’s and the business environment they were use to. Knowing something had to change to make this business successful, they decided to add food. Why not, Mr. Qattom’s first job in making hamburgers was terrific. It wasn’t long before they put in a big grill, country style. Wanting to do something different, instead of using 4 to 5 oz and that the most 8 oz frozen patties, the Qattom’s decided to use a 9 oz patty, which was hand made fresh daily.
Burgers, fajitas, seafood & salads round out the menu at this comfortable diner with American fare.

Maybe it was just the breakfast that I ordered, but however it was not that good to me, the eggs were not prepared as I asked, the gravy on the side was very cold as I always order gravy on the side whenever I get a Country fried Steak breakfast, and usually it’s good wherever I go, but not this morning, the fried potatoes weren’t that great either, they seemed a bit undercooked, and the toast ,I just didn’t even try it, but however the coffee was good, considering that I have not drank coffee in about a year, would i want to come back here, hummmm, maybe it just wasn’t my morning to come here,

We visited on a Tuesday night and ordered the Texas Burger and the Wild West Burger. The place itself is really nice, with a great outdoor seating area. Surprisingly, it was pretty empty for such a large restaurant—we were one of only two groups there!
The service was friendly, and the food was well-presented. Portions were generous, and everything tasted great. We also tried the Chicken Spud Potato, which was a huge serving and equally good.
Overall, a pleasant experience with good food and great service. Would recommend, especially if you’re looking for a quieter spot during the week!

I had dinner here at approx 5pm. The parking lot was empty which raises a typical red flag. To my surprise the food was really good. While the facilities never filled up, there was a very constant flow of take-outs. I felt the food was great and priced appropriately.

The quality of food has gone downhill. The gyro meat looks like what I can get in the freezer section at the grocery store and there’s only 4 slices. It don’t taste as good as it used to. Even the amount of fries has decreased. We called to inquire and were told that they had scaled back their portions, but they haven’t scaled back their prices. We won’t be back. Super disappointing.

When I went there for my uncle’s birthday, everyone enjoyed it, even the people who have allergies ( wheat allergies). They had many options for people who had a wheat allergy, which is pretty nice and it makes us want to go there again!! On top of that the people working there were pretty nice. But besides the food and the people… The bathroom was kinda dirty, which isn’t their fault ( I don’t think) because people just don’t know how to flush the toilet or anything.. other than that the experience was pretty good.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant 9ers, and this time I decided to try their Cajun Chicken Sandwich and Texas Chicken Sandwich. Once again, the restaurant delivered an outstanding experience that left me thoroughly satisfied.

The first time coming to 9ers food was very good and the people were super friendly. The cheesecake needed strawberry topping, but other than that, everything was great. Definitely will go again.

First off didn’t like that I was gonna leave the tip on my credit card and the kid told me don’t do that cause it doesn’t go to anyone. To leave it at the table. Well I don’t carry cash. It is sad that the tip by credit wouldn’t go to the server. As far as the food it was ok. Subpar chicken sandwich. Baked potato the bacon was burnt. They toasted the bun way to long it fell apart.

Went in to have dinner. Got to say now you can tip with credit payment! Ordered the New York with loaded potato. Ordered it to be cooked medium and got well done disappointing. It was like chewing a chew toy.
