Once there, the staff seemed to vanish for a moment. No menus, no water, no check ins which was a little odd given that we’d waited an hour to get to our reserved seat. At no time did anyone take any personal accountability for our wait- and the lack of service was very off putting.
When our waitress showed up about fifteen minutes after we were seated, she asked what drinks we wanted. I said we didn’t have menus so she went and got them. I got a margarita, and my table got a beer and a margarita. The margarita was very good.
We ordered more appetizers and had the tuna (which is fine, mild but a good protein) and the Korean Bao pork bellies (amazing) and ordered the burger for dinner.
So… five stars for the burger. Five stars for the Bao. Five stars for the presentation. Five stars for the bar staff (though asking for a cash out is indicative of staff issues).
As far as our wait showed went?
I don’t think I would have seen a group with an hour long wait and not offered “something” and they didn’t even acknowledge it. So— just be aware that if it’s a special night (which they never asked any question to see what brought us or how far we had driven- ) your reservation is a slippery slope and they might not really honour it.
I’m pretty sure I figured out the secret to their burger, so I’ll try to make it at home- save myself the three hours of driving when our friend is in town visiting his family and we wanted to do something nice for him.
The Best of Both Worlds Board set the tone — artisanal cheeses and charcuterie paired with house-pickled vegetables and tangy mustards, a spread that’s perfect for grazing. The Braised Lamb Tacos were rich and tender, each bite layered with smoky, savoury depth. Meanwhile, the Craft Burger delivered classic comfort with a gourmet twist: juicy, flavour-packed, and cooked to perfection.
Then came the indulgence: the Birria Grilled Cheese with Duck Confit Poutine — oozy, cheesy, crispy, and unapologetically decadent. The Bone Marrow with Oxtail Marmalade was another standout, velvety and rich, balanced by the sweetness of the marmalade.
Of course, you can’t leave without oysters — the Oysters on the Half Shell were fresh, briny, and beautifully presented, capturing the very essence of the ocean. For mains, the Organic Crispy Skin Salmon impressed with its perfect sear and delicate flakiness, while the Fried Cauliflower gave a crunchy, plant-based option that held its own among the heavier plates.
Craft Farmacy isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience that blends bold flavours, local pride, and a welcoming vibe. Whether you’re here for oysters and beer, or for a full table of share plates, this London gem is a must-visit.

A lively location with limited parking.
I went for the soup which was delicious pulled chicken in thick tomato.
My daughter had the braised beef grilled cheese which was outstanding. Fries are perfect blend of soft and crunchy. I went for the burger in an attempt to compare with Los Olivos. TbH, the beef in this burger tasted nicer, but I enjoyed the blue Cheese better in Los.
My wife had the venison cheese steak which was delightful. Duck confit poutine was perfect. We ended with a sticky toffee pudding with cranberry. The cake was excellent, I missed sticky. More Carmel and maybe melted ice cream to finish it please. Over all a wonderful meal in a great spot
Bone marrow was excellent. The balsamic vinegarette blends in super well with the creamy fat juices and bread. Only problem is too little to share around but they do offer option to add more bones during ordering.
Crispy salmon was so crispy and tender. Not sure how they manage to keep the salmon moist and not dried up with the skin so crispy.
Burger was really good. If I had to make one suggestion it would be a tad too much seasoning. The bone marrow butter and caramelized onion added plenty of flavors but maybe a tad less mayo. I had my medium and it was done perfect.
Curry mushroom had a bit of spice. Couldn’t quite make out the dish in term of the type cuisine they are presenting.
Brussel sprout were very tasty. Not too salty but has a bit of the burnt smell flavor.
Cheesecake no issues. Came with plenty of flavoring and fruits
Drinks were excellent too. Server came out twice to ask how was food. They even top up water in your cup for you. Now that’s service for you.
Really nice lighting decorations in the parkade after dark.
I made the 3-hour trek to Craft Farmacy after hearing it came highly recommended—and it did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped inside, the vibe was warm, inviting, and full of good energy. You instantly get the sense that this place cares—about the food, the people, and the experience.
Our server was an absolute delight—friendly, sharp, and full of witty one-liners that kept us smiling all evening. It’s rare to get that perfect balance of professionalism and personality, but they nailed it.
And the food? Exceptional. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavour—clearly crafted with care and creativity. You can tell they take pride in what they do here, and it shows in every bite.
I brought friends along for the ride, and we’re already planning our return trip. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the drive… it absolutely is. Can’t wait to go back!
Meal included deep fried potatoes, a 2oz cup of (soggy) fruit, and a decent eggs Benny. Juice and coffee were included. As well as scones (which may have been the best part of the meal)
Service was decent. Though, the server and hostess seemed uninterested, maybe it was tough day for them.
Not entirely knowledgeable on the menu, but pleasant enough to deal with.
Lack of music made it seem sterile and echoey, as the venue is very open. Hearing other people’s conversation is uncomfortable, and music (or perhaps louder music if there was any playing) would help quell that.
Positives; everything was very clean. Flatware and plates were polished, and the glasses were spotless.
Bathrooms were exceptionally clean, which leads me to believe the kitchen is also kept in high regard.
The food was presented beautifully, and with obvious attention to detail.
Will visit again.
