I’ve been to Dave’s several times before, but this will probably be my last visit. First of all I couldn’t place a call in order, which is inconvenient. They were not busy, so it didn’t take a long time for my order to be prepared. The food is always prepared fresh, which is a plus. I ordered a 9 inch cheesesteak, made it a combo, and it costs $25, which I find ridiculous. The price is definitely not equivalent to the amount and taste of the food. Quality and Quantity isn’t there anymore. I understand the price of food has gone up and the costs to run a business, but $25 is nonsense. Also, for $25, the restaurant could at least have Coca Cola products and not Pepsi products. The Starry drink is disgusting. I could have gone to a wing spot and got a 12 inch cheesesteak, 5 wings, fries, and a drink for $22. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

I usually love Big Dave’s but the experience yesterday was very disappointing. My daughter and I both got the salmon egg roll combo to go & I usually check my bag before leaving any restaurant with a to go order & am upset that I didn’t this time. Our egg rolls were very tiny compare to what they’ve previously been, my daughters barely had any salmon in it and it was fried too long, so it was basically burnt. On top of that, they only gave us one sauce when the receipt on both bags indicated egg roll sauce so I’m not sure what happened there lol. Again, just very disappointing.

Saw various ads/social media reviews or talks about this place. Overall not bad. Decent cheesesteak. Wish the bun was “toasted” a little on the grill before the ingredients were added. Good cheese ratio. Could have used some more salt/pepper.
Fries were on point. Nicely seasoned. “Buffalo chicken egg rolls” were ok. Love the crunch factor but I wouldn’t drive out of my way for them. Maybe the cheesesteak egg roll might be better.
Ultimately, decent experience. Music was loud and we were eating “IN” so that was a little annoying.

Our first time trying Big Dave’s and I can dig it! We came in kind of late but still we got everything FRESH & HOT. I love a good ole Philly. It was delicious well seasoned, you can add on additional toppings, they used the right kind of bread & it stayed in tact . The cashier (I didn’t catch her name) but she was very helpful, polite and patient as we browsed the menu. Any questions we had she answered with no hesitation. We dined in to enjoy the experience. The restaurant was very clean. I traveled a little ways and I can say it was worth it. We now have a Philly cheesesteak spot whenever we come to Lawrenceville. We will definitely be back! If you haven’t tired them yet; what are you waiting on?
