We went today for the first time. Shared the lunch veg combo, 11.99 and a marsala dosa, also 11.99. We really liked everything and were glad we went. One sauce that accompanied the lunch combo
though, was a watery rendition of sour cream, which was weird, but the other sauces were good.

Absolutely incredible food. The prawn pepper fry was the standout—perfectly seasoned with a serious kick. I’ve already been back twice and I’m determined to work my way through the entire menu. This is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves authentic south Indian flavors.

If you want to get an authentic south indian food this is your place. Stopped here for a breakfast and tasted almost all their breakfast items. Everything tasted fresh and tasty. Will definitely repeat. Seeing the picture of our late cm Amma in the restaurant felt good and reminded home.

Absolutely avoid this place. Its the customer service that kills the reputation of this restaurant. One 1 person takes the orders, serves food and accommodate customers. Upon requesting an update on the food, he gets aggressive. We also got hair in our biryani, upon complaining and showing him, he didn’t bother deducting the price of the biryani from the final bill. When asked about it, he talks to him manager(or owner maybe) in tamil right infront of the customers thinking we wouldn’t understand. He was indeed saying this – “they had eaten 60% of the biryani & still complaining “

Very disappointed and never going back. Learn to run a business dude!!

Ate here two days back to back and the food was amazing! Sundays they have unlimited thali which was pretty good. Also got the masala dosa, idly vada combo, pongal, chapati and korma which were all 10/10.

This place in Buffalo is a gem for authentic Indian food. The highlight was the traditional meal served on a banana leaf, which made the experience unique and memorable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, reminding me of comforting home-style cooking. Each dish was prepared with care, from the curries to the sides, making the meal wholesome and satisfying. The service was equally impressive—the staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Amma Kitchen beautifully combines authenticity, taste, and hospitality, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine.
