Went as a group of 3. The food was good, wont say great. The server was nice, our issue being that we ordered a shrimp appetizer and Stephanie gave us the 1/2 lb order. We didnt know this until we got the bill, when we asked her about it she just nodded and walked off. Didn’t expect to pay 18 for an appetizer so that was disappointing, like the lack of seasoning on the wings. Also the hush puppies seemed like they were made for a nursing home who loved onions. The cheese grits are grits sprinkled with shredded cheese. Its visually appealing I guess though. The long island wasnt really hitting like a long island. Pretty sub par, but the fries were good. Spent 100 dollars on the entire meal.

We stopped by for late dinner and the hostess was welcoming and made sure we got a good spot with all the kids. Food was great but small portions. We enjoyed the variety but the kids did not find it to their taste and just ate fruits instead. Our shrimp platter, calamari and grilled fish was delicious.

Small but cozy cafe, with a handful of tables and a dining counter. Greeted immediately upon entering, and opted to dine at the counter, always my go-to spot. Ordered their burger, added bacon and cheese, and asked for it medium rare, and with fries. I really was not prepared for what I received…everything was exactly as I ordered, and delicious!!! The burger was a perfect medium rare, the cheese was melted, the bacon was well-cooked but not stringy or crispy, the lettuce was crisp and fresh, and the tomato slices were firm and fresh. As if that weren’t enough, the fries were hot and delicious, cooked almost to the point of becoming crispy on the outside…while that would have been my preference, it takes nothing away from them, as they fit within that range of perfection! I didn’t have much appetite before the burger, but it sure made me hungry for more! So hungry I ordered a BLT, which was another winner! Although the bread was toasted beautifully, I would have preferred a bit more toward crispy…but again, my preference takes nothing away from what they delivered! Would definitely eat here again, and if the opportunity arises, would love to ha e a shot at their breakfast menu!!

Great experience, as they welcomed our pup Lavern with a bowl of water. We ate in the patio, both having the wild caught GA shrimp. I had the side of cheese grits and it was all great! Plus a sweet tea, of course.

The food was so good! Get the pancakes! Even more than, the staff were so kind and attentive and wonderful. We could not have asked for a better experience. Overall, this is a cute, wonderful, local restaurant that I would absolutely visit again.

I ordered to go from this restaurant and was surprised there was a 20% service charge, which I was happy to pay if that was what they required for to go orders. There was a sign at the restaurant that a 3% convenience pay applies for credit card payments but there was no mention about the service fee. However what made me want to write this review is in addition to the 20% service charge, there is a field for tip.. for to go orders that they already charge service fee for?!? . I ordered mahi mahi platter and poboy sandwich. Fish was $20 and it looks pathetic for $20. If the restaurant wants to charge $20 for a meal and 20% service charge make the meal looks $20

Great little place on the island. Wife and I stopped by for dinner on a Monday at around 6. We were seated right away at a table inside. They do have outside seating but it was a tad hot . Our waitress came over right away and took our drink orders and was very attentive throughout our meal. Wife had the Turkey BLT Wrap with fruit and I had the Blacked Mahi Sandwich with Cheese Grits. All of the food was very good and was served very quickly. They have a good selection of draft beer and a full bar. I had The Mango Cart draft which was very good. What impressed me the most about this place other than the food was the way the entire staff worked together to make sure we were taken care of. I think there were 3 servers, a bartender and a hostess. During our meal every one of them had a part in helping either by bringing out food, refilling drinks and checking on us. It was a very enjoyable dinner and was not over priced like other places in area.

Great little place for a quick meal. 3 adults and 2 children. High chair available for 2 yr old. Kids menu offered was perfect for our two. Adult menu had a variety of options. I tried the crab meat patty burger and it was delicious. Others had the chicken cheese steak and Philly cheese steak sandwiches and both enjoyed.
Service was spot on. Waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Establishment was clean and kid friendly.
No restrooms in cafe. For these you have to exit and go around the corner to the public restrooms.
Overall, I would return on my next trip to eat again.

They have definitely went up in price. I am pretty sure french fries haven’t went up that much. A side of fries is $5.29 I believe. So I was expecting a decent size. They also charge a 20% to go fee for “utensils and condiments”. This is a money hungry business and the guy at the bar is rude and unpleasant.
Hopefully they read the comments and do better.

I saw at the bar for a quick lunch. Ordered a slaw dog with Mac and an ordered of GA wild shrimp fried with their cheese grits. Needed a hotdog after the seafood I’ve been eating on the island. I’ll just say the service at the bar was fantastic and the fried shrimp was arguably the best I’ve had in my life. The seasoning they used is spectacular. This will definitely be on my list when I come back to the island. I’m telling, get the fried shrimp!
