Came here with my family and had an amazing experience. We had a group of 6, and the restaurant had plenty of seating for all group sizes throughout the place. There’s also outdoor seating (too cold for it right now, but definitely a plus), and a bar area that looked great. The whole facility was clean and well kept, and the staff was super nice. Our waiter Jackie was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel very welcome.
Now the food…
We all ordered different things and not a single miss:
* I got the salmon and it was a 10/10 — crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and paired with an **amazing house-special appetizer.
* My brother ordered the chicken alfredo and literally licked the bowl clean.
* My cousin got a pasta dish and finished every bite.
* My dad ordered a sausage sandwich… and let’s just say the sandwich didn’t survive.
* My sister loved her buffalo chicken wrap.
* My uncle got the same sandwich he always gets here, which says a lot on its own.
For 6 people, the bill was around $130 which is a great value for the quality and portions. Overall, great food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place we’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
Service- 4 stars- our server was Margie. She was friendly and attentive.
Food- 4 stars- really enjoyed the food that we ordered. Our first time here so we weren’t sure what was the popular item so we played it safe and ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, wedding soup and cheese sticks (triangles). Everything was very good- my favorite was the cheese sticks and a very nice amount for an appetizer (six total). Very cheesy and a nice pull. Loved the breading and marinara dipping. Wedding soup was good as well. The pizza was very tasty- not the best pizza I have ever had but a solid pizza not the less. Loved the pepperoni that they use here. Would definitely come back and try some other offerings in the future. Highly recommend!!
With that confusion in mind, we made reservations and went with another couple wanting to focus on the Italian section of the menu. We were blown away!
Our table was ready for us and we were seated immediately after the sanitized it. Flatware was wrapped in plastic bags and provided with the menus. The menu was the same as we saw online so it was not a surprise to see the diversity of offerings. As we wanted to focus on the Italian offerings, we went with the Stuffed Peppers and Baked Ricotta Appetizers. We then got the Eggplant and Veal Parmesan and two different versions of Chicken Marsala – One with the standard fettuccine, and the other with an upgrade to potato Gnocchi. They have an extensive beer list with some cocktails, but also a nice wine list so we selected a Chianti and were surprised at the very reasonable prices, so ordered a bottle to share.
The appetizers were great. The baked Ricotta was something we had not seen before and was smooth and creamy. The grilled bread slices were the perfect vessel to hold it and put on the pimentos and other goodies that came with the plate. The stuffed peppers were very tasty and not spicy at all.
The wine was a revelation. It was a 2018 Chianti Reserva which was excellent. For $33 dollars it was an absolute bargain!
When the main meals arrived, we realized we made a mistake. Each of those plates could feed four people! they were all very tasty and amongst the best in their class. Flavors and preparations were spot on and they were delivered piping hot. Three quarters of each plate ended up in a take-home box!
Finally, we could not resist trying a couple of desserts since they were being discounted. Both the raspberry cake and the Buckeye were wonderfully complex and perfect accompaniments to the meal.
We basically rolled out of the restaurant having eaten way too much food, but vowing to come back to try some of their other offerings!
Now the food…The calamari dish had a lot of calamari with the breadcrumb coating separated. The pizza dough was undercooked. It was hard to cut on the pan with the provided tool, and the toppings were sliding off the slices. The mashed potatoes tasted funny, and there were too many flies around our table.
The steak and the bruschetta as well as the kind and courteous staff were the best parts of the entire experience, but generally speaking the food, drinks and atmosphere were average at best. As an Italian dining at an Italian restaurant, mi dispiace . I wouldn’t recommend this spot.
